During the festival, boat races are held to the sounds of thunderous drumbeats. People can eat rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves while watching the boat races. 4. Answer: HalloweenDuring this festival, people dress up in scary costumes such as witches, ghosts and skeletons. Then, they will visit other peoples houses and shout Trick or Treat. If they do not get any treats (usually candies), they will play tricks to you. Some people also make pumpkin lanterns which are called Jack-o-lanterns.5. Answer: Chinese New YearBefore the festival, people will go shopping for new clothes and paste spring couplets on their doors. During the festival, they will visit each other and set off firecrackers. Children will get red packets from their parents and relatives. Also, there will be dragon and lion dances.
