Grammar（附课件）学习目标：1. 认识并掌握连词and, but, or, so 的用法。2. 认识并掌握运用连词结构both-and-, not only-but also-, either-or-, neither-nor-的用法。学习过程：一and 的用法（只列举初中阶段常见的几种）：例句：1、I have a brother and a sister._ 2、I like eating apples and she likes eating bananas._ 3、Work hard and you will be successful. _从上面的例句可以看出and 作为一个连词，既可以连接两个并列的单词，也可以连接两个并列的句子。常常用在肯定的陈述句中。常常翻译成“和，又，而且”。在例句3中，and连接的句子跟在一个祈使句后，则表示一种结果。（好好学习，你会成功的）二or 的用法例句：1. I cant dance or sing._- 2. can you swim or skate?_ 3. Work hard ,or you will fail. _-从例句可以得出or也可以连接两个并列的词，表示选择，翻译成“或，还是”但是or 往往用在否定句或疑问句中。在例句3中，or 跟在祈使句后表示一种否定的条件，意为“否则”. 注意要和上面的and 用法做一比较。三but 的用法例句：1. It is sunny but very cold._ 2. He is clever, but he doesnt work hard._ 3. He is not clever but lazy._ 4. I know nobody but you._从例句1、2可以看出but 可以连接词，也可以连接两个句子，表示转折。翻译成“但是，但”. 而在例句3中出现not-but-的结构，表示“不是-而是”的意思。例句4中but跟在nobody,nothing等表示否定的词语后面则表示“只-，除了-”的意思。四so 的用法例句：1.I want to catch the early bus, so I get up at five in the morning. 2.He didnt work hard, so he failed at last.从例句可以看出，so连接的是两个句子，前后表示因果关系。翻译成“所以，因此”四both-and-, not only-but also-, either-or-, neither-nor-的用法。both-and-表示“-和-都-，两者都-”。 not only-but also-表示“不但-而且-” either-or-表示“要么-要么-，或者-或者-，指二者只取其一” neither-nor-表示“既不-也不-，两者都不-”的意思。它们在句子中可以连接各种句子成分，需要强调的是：当它们连接两个并列的主语时，注意句子的谓语动词形式。例句：1. Both he and she are from England.2. Not only he but also his brother likes swimming.3. Either Lily or her classmates are ready to help Tom.4. Neither you nor he knows the way to the post office.从以上例句可以看出，both-and-连接并列主语时，谓语动词用_(单/复)数形式。而用not only-but also-, either-or-, neither-nor-连接并列主语时，谓语动词的形式要和最接近的主语要保持一致。同学们，看完上面的简单介绍，请你们完成下面的任务：1. 在P12页下方，试着用and, but, or, so来连接句子，并且翻译句子。2. 完成P14页的两个练习，当堂给出答案。达标检测：1.
