教学内容:Unit 5 Great People (L37L40)1. 重点单词n. writereducatorsight hearingcouragewar aidsituationpeace bloodpoisonsoldierv. operateburykill adj. well-knownblinddeaf greatlynorthernwoundedaccidentally 2. 重点短语Anti-Japanese War 抗日战争at the age of 在岁的时候give first aid 进行急救in a difficult situation 在困难的情况下make an example 举一个例子3. 1. Hellen Keller, the well-known writer and educator, died yesterday at the age of 88. (L37)(1)well-known = famous “著名的”(2)die v. Many people die of cancer last year. That old man died last week. 扩展:由die组成的词组:the die is cast 木已成舟;die down 平静下来;die hard 顽固的人提示:dead和died都是死的意思,但die是动词(过去式),指的是动作;dead是形容词,指的是状态。 This little animal has died. The dog has already been dead for two weeks. 2. Helen wanted to understand other people. (L37) other, another, the other与others的区别other既可以修饰可数名词又可以修饰不可数名词。I have no other choice but to wait until he es back. There are two ways for you to choose. One is to ask for others, the other is to do yourself. In the classroom, some students are reading, while the others are writing. I dont like this pen, please show me another. 3. That day, she learned many more words . He is learning/studying English now. He studies hard and finally learned the language. I learnt a new song. 如: Learn from Lei Feng. 4. Create an imaginary hero and write something about him or her.(L37)on与about表示“关于”about和on都有“关于”的意思。 如:a book on/about history (一本关于历史的书)。 This is a book for children about Africa and its people. In the library she has found many books on different subjects. 5. He once operated for sixty-nine hours without stopping. (L38)operate v . The doctors are operating on the girl. 提示:给某人做手术常用词组operate on sb.Did you operate on that patient? I have told Mrs.Liu that I would like to help her teach our English class. (L39)would like, like与wantwould like意为“想要”“愿意”,用于礼貌的提出要求或表示愿意提供帮助,后面接名词、代词、to do We would like a cup of tea. I would like to go. We like playing basketball. Do you like to fly a kite? 要,想要want to do sth. 想要去做某事want sb.to do sth. I want to go to Shijiazhuang for my holiday. I want you to help me. 7. Enough rice is produced now to feed the people of China.(L40)enough pron. adj. & adv.pron. I have had enough, thank you. adj. I have enough money to buy a color TV set. adv. You dont practise enough at the piano. Is the river deep enough for swimming? 河的深度够游泳吗?.enough to do sth. He is not old enough to go to school. 8. 被动语态(L40)构成:be + v.-ed (有各种时态,体现在be 上)The sports meeting will be held next Sunday. This bridge was founded in 1981. This book was written by him. 含有情态动词的被动语态 can/ may/ must/ need/ should/ would + be + v.-ed The flower must be watered at once. make , let , have 等使役动词变被动语态应为: be made to do The workers were made to work 12 hours a day. ( )1.
