第四课时课时内容B Lets try Lets talk课时分析本课时是人教版五年级下册第四单元第四课时 ,与第五课时紧密相连。围绕“生日”的 话题展开,主要通过对话学习句型 When is your birthday? 及回答 My birthday is on.。让学生 能够就生日日期展开问答,培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立学好英语的信心。前几节课中询问 节日日期句型的学习为本课时的学习奠定了基础。本课时的重点是帮助学生能够理解和运用 询问对方生日及回答的表达。本课时包括 Lets try 和 Lets talk 两个版块。Lets try 通过听 Mike 和陈杰讨论 Mike 小 表弟的的一段对话录音,感知 B 部分的核心句型。Lets talk 版块通过陈杰和 Mike 谈论生日的 情景,让学生感知 When is your birthday? My birthday is on April 4th.的语义及语用情景,此情境 是关于生日的话题,与学生的生活息息相关,很能激起学生学习的兴趣。本节课涉及了前面几个课时的内容 , 在设计教学过程时 ,我采用游戏、师生问答的方法 , 复习学过的知识。接着采用从局部处理语言到呈现完整对话的方式学习新知 ,然后创编对话 巩固新知。课时目标1. 能够听、说、读、写句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is on April 4th.2. 能够理解对话大意。3. 能够在情景中恰当运用句型 When is your birthday? My birthday is on . 就生日日期展开问 答。4.能够在情景中运用句型 What will you do for your mum? I ll cook noodles for her. 表达自己 能为家人或朋友做些什么。5. 能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话。6. 培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立学好英语的信心。课时重难点1. 重点(1)能够听、说、读、写句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is on April 4th. (2)能够理解对话大意。(3)能够在情景中恰当运用句型 When is your birthday? My birthday is on . 就生日日期展 开问答。(4)能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话。2. 难点核心句型的灵活运用。教学准备:课件、录音机、磁带教学过程Step 1 Warm up1. GreetingT: Good morning, boys and girls.Ss: Good morning, teacher.T: Are you ready for English class?Ss: Yes.T: Ok. Lets begin our class. Before our class, lets play a game first.2. Play a game.教师说出 one,学生们说 first, first, F-I-R-S-T,first教师依次说出 two, three, four, five,学生们拼出对应的序数词。3. Ask and answerT: When is Easter?S1: Its on April 1st.T: Yes. When is May Day?S2: Its on May 1st.设计意图:游戏的环节复习了序数词,问答的环节复习了前几节课所学的重点句型,为学习本 课做了铺垫。Step 2 Lead in1. Sing a songT: Yes. Today is . Its .s birthday.(教师表达 Its. birthday 时可以利用本班学生或者是学生 熟悉的人物。)(呈现生日蛋糕的图片和今日的日历,帮助学生理解 birthday 的意思。)Lets sing a birthday song for her/him.(播放歌曲 Happy birthday,学生唱歌。)教学资源:课件设计意图:生日歌的运用既调节了课堂气氛,又使学生在不是不觉中加深了单词 birthday 的 认读、理解。2. Lets tryT: Whos this baby?(呈现 B 版块的图片,引导学生猜测。)Ss: .T: Hes Mikes new cousin. When is the babys birthday? Lets listen and tick.(学生听录音,完成 选生日日期的练习,并核对答案。)T: Mikes new cousins birthday is on March 2nd. When is Mikes birthday? Lets have a look. 教学资源:录音机、磁带设计意图:Lets try 让学生感知 B 部分的核心句型,也很自然的引出下文。Step 3 Presentation1. Teaching “When is your birthday? Its on .”(1)呈现 Mike 的图片和日历 April 4th.T: When is Mikes birthday?(板书句子,指名理解句子。)Ss: Mikes birthday is on April 4th.(引导学生回答并板书句子。)(2)T: Yes. When is your birthday?(将 your 替换 Mikes,指名理解句子。)Ss: My birthday is on .(引导学生回答,并将 my 替换 Mikes)(3)领读板书句子,跟读句子。(4)师生对话示范 , 同时根据学生的生日日期适时的板书新的序数词。然后同桌两人问答练 习。When is your birthday?My birthday is on .教学资源:课件设计意图:在学生用英语表达自己的生日日期时,教师顺势教学新的序数词,学生记得更牢一 些。2. Teaching “What will you do for your mum? Ill.(1)T: When is your mothers birthday? Mum does many things for me. What will you do for yourmum?(板书句子,理解句子,领读句子。)(2)呈现句型 Ill.,找一到两名学生回答。(3)两人一组做对话练习。A: What will you do for your mum?B: Ill.for her.cook noodles make a cakemake a card clean the roomwash her clothes give mum a flower(课件呈现多个词组,供学生参考使用。)(4)同桌创编对话。参考句型:A: When is your birthday?B: Its on .A: When is your mothers birthday?B: Its on.A: What will you do for your mum?B: Ill.教学资源:课件设计意图:在练习句型 Ill. for her 时,课件呈现一些词组供学生练习,扩展学生的思维能力和 语言表达能力。3. Teaching “both of you”(1)指组表演对话,T: Both of you are good/.(2)理解 both of you,教读,跟读。设计意图:通过对回答不错的两人提出表扬,顺势学生 both of you,加深学生的理解。 4.Learn “ Lets talk”(1)带着问题自读课文。When is Chen Jies birthday?When is Mikes mothers birthday?What will he do for his mum?(2)小组讨论问题,然后汇报。(3)播放录音,学生模仿跟读。(4)分角色朗读。教学资源:录音机、磁带设计意图:听音模仿朗读、分角色朗读,培养学生的语感。Step 4 Practice1. 完成 Role-play。2.两人一组编对话。(可根据实际情况选择。)对话示例:A: When is your birthday?B: My birthday is /Its on_.A: Thats my _s birthday, too.B: Cool.
