Have the children nod their heads if the person likes the animals, or shake their heads if the person doesnt like the animals.2. Play the tape again, stopping after each question and answer. Explain that this time the children need to check ( ) or cross ( ) the box next to each picture according to what was said on the tape. Have them check () the boxes next to the animals the person likes, and cross ( ) the boxes next to animals the person doesnt like.3. Check the answers with the children.Step 3. Sing a song1. Point to Kens picture. Read the sentences aloud. Have the children touch the words in their books as you do so. Then have them repeat the sentences after you.3. Repeat the procedure for the sentence in Kens picture.4. Now have the children look at the second picture. Ask them what Ken and Ann do every day. Try to elicit the new words.5. Point to the schedule in the second picture. Repeat the procedure used for the sentences in the first picture.6. Divide the class into two groups and have the children repeat the first dialog in a role-play.7. Repeat the procedure for the second dialog.8. Put the children in pairs and have them practice the first dialog. Encourage them to substitute other character names for swimming class in the first dialog. They can substitute English corner etc.9. Have the children change pairs and then practice the second dialog. Encourage them to substitute other kinds of subject for English corner.Step 5. Listen and match.1. Have the children open their books at page 6. show your copy of the page. Point to each picture and have the children tell you the names of the activity.2. Play the first sentence, then stop the tape. Ask, “What does Ann do on Monday?” have the children point to the activity that Ann does.3. Repeat for the other sentences.4.
