Their table. Repeat, class.Ss: their table. Ask two Ss to sit at the other table. T: (point to s2 and s3). Their table. Repeat, class.Ss: their table. T: (point to your own chair.)chair. My chair. Repeat each sentence, pointing to the objects and the people to introduce the new words. Using the book T: (point to the skateboard in first picture.) whats that ?Ss: its a skateboard. Continue with the other items. T: lets listen to the tape. Point to the pictures. Play the tape, holding up the book and pointing to the objects and the people as they are mentioned in the dialog. T: lets listen aging and repeat. Play the tape, pausing after each expression to have Ss repeat. Divide Ss into three groups: one is jenny, one is tony and one is gogo. Play the tape again let each group repeat its part. Extension activity TB p.120 Vocabulary Getting ready Put picture cards 65-72 up on the board. T: (hold up picture card 65 mine.) Tony says, “this is my skateboard.” (point to the skateboard.) my skateboard. Repeat.my skateboard. mine. Repeat.Ss: mine. Continue with items first, e.g. your notebook, his balloon, gogos stuffed animal, etc, and then to the vocabulary, e.g. yours, his, gogos etc. Using the book T: listen to the tape and repeat. Point to each word as you say it. Play the tape and have Ss repeat. Point to pictures in the book and ask questions, e.g. whose balloon is ti?Ss: its this.
