回答问题(一)健康生活+人物故事A2020原创Earlier this school year, a yoga room opened up in our school for students to use as one of our options for a rest activity. My classmates and I decided that we were going to test it out and see if it was any good or not. We signed up in the cafeteria so we could go.When we walked into the studio, we were shocked to see so many yoga mats(垫子) there were! We all took off our shoes and picked yoga mats that were next to each other. Then, the yoga teacher put on some relaxing music and we started.First, we sat in either the half lotus(莲花式), full lotus, or Indian style poses. Half lotus is one leg over the other. Full lotus is both legs over each other. And Indian style is crisscrossed(十字交叉的) legs.If we felt full of energy, we would put our hands down during our pose. If we felt tired, we put our hands up. Then, we did sun salutations(拜日式). One example of this is when you put your hands together and welcome others to do yoga with you. Finally, we did a couple of other yoga poses together. One pose was the downward dog(下犬式). The yoga pose made me think of dogs.We all enjoyed this activity. Weve gone back to the studio several times since then. Its a nice way to take a break in the middle of a busy school day.1.What opened up in our school for students to use as one of our options for a rest activity? 2.Where did my classmates and I sign up? 3.Why were we shocked when we walked into the studio? 4.How many ways could we sit in according to the passage? 5.Did the pose “downward dog” remind me of dogs? BWhen I was eight years old, my mother told me to put my coat on because we were going to go somewhere special. Usually, that meant we were going to see someone important. I would at least get a new toy. I asked which one it would be that day, and she told me that I would get something better than a toy. She said I would get “access(通道) to a world of toys”. I had no real idea what she meant. Did that mean we were buying a toy store? But we did not end up at any toy store. Neither did we finally see anyone we knew. Instead, my mother pulled her car into a parking lot in front of a building that looked like something out of the past. It didnt have a modern look at all.We took stone steps up to the entrance. Only then I found out what this place was, because there was a sign that said “Marcy Public Library”. We pushed the door open, and my mother led me to the front desk. “Id like to get my daughter a library card,” she told the man behind the desk. He asked her to fill out a form. “What kind of books do you like to read?” he asked. I was too shy to reply. I only smiled. “Well, youll find it out in time,” he said. I do not remember what I picked out that day, but I know that in the years that followed I read through books on history, books of poetry, and books about art. The library opened up a world that I never knew that day.So my mother was right. Getting a library card was like getting the access to a world of toys.1.When did the story happen? 2.Did they buy any toys that day? 3.What was the name of the library? 4.Who served them at the front desk in the library that day? 5.What did the mothers “getting access to a world of toys” refer to(指的是)? 【参考答案】A1.A yoga room.2.In the cafeteria.3.To see so many yoga mats.4.Three.5.Yes, it did.B主旨大意在“我”八岁的时候,妈妈说要带“我”去一个特殊的地方,“我”认为至少会得到一个玩具,妈妈告诉“我”:“我”会得到比玩具更好的,“我”会得到通往玩具世界的通道1.
