外研版小学英语新标准英语三起点第七册Module4 Happy Thanksgiving 教学设计一、 教学内容本课是新标准英语三起点第七册Module 4 Unit 1 Happy Thanksgiving.阅读教学在小学阶段的主要目的是:激发学生的阅读兴趣,让学生能读懂简单的文章,培养良好的阅读习惯,为以后成为有独立阅读能力的人打好基础。所以结合 本节课和学生的特点,我将本节课是确定为一节阅读课,主要是通过Simon与Daming 的交谈,让学生对西方的两个节日:Flag Day国旗日 和Thanksgiving感恩节知道并了解。并且能用What do you do on Flag Day/Thanksgiving .? Can you tell me more about .?We carry flags and we sing songs. We have a big family meal . We say “thank-you”for our food , family and friends.进行交流。同时激发学生对西方节日西方文化了解的兴趣。本课是以中国孩子Daming向美国孩子询问美国节日而引发的谈话。Simon向Daming介绍美国的两个节日Flag Day和Thanksgiving,对话中涉及到两个节日的风俗和人们的主要庆祝活动,是一篇和文化相关的课文。二、 目标定位教学目标:【认知目标】 1,能听说读写本节课的重点单词和句型,读懂课文。 【能力目标】 1, 能用本节课所学的重点单词短语句型来简单描述Flag Day 和Thanksgiving 。 【情感目标】 1,学生们通过谈论节日,增强自己的口语表达能力、并通过了解外国节日,加强对中国节日的认识,从而比较中西方文化的差异,培养学生的跨文化意识。 2, 让学生在节日中体会到家人的爱,教会学生学会感恩。三、 教学流程Step 1 导入T:Clap hands and sing Jingle Bells (出示单词卡special)We know this song is special for. ?S:Christmas Day.Step 2 讲授1,整体略读,捕捉信息。T:Is Christmas a Chinese festival?S:No. Its an American festival.T: Good job!Its very important in America. I think our friend Simon will tell us one more about American festival with some pictures. Lets watch carefully and chose what festival is it? T:Yes, Its Flag Day. Do you know Flag Day? When is it? Its on July 14th.What do people do on Flag Day? You can get the answer from the dialogue and the picture on the book.2,设置疑问,推进阅读。T:Whats Simons favorite festival?S:Its Thanksgiving.(呈现一系列感恩节的图片)Do you like Thanksgiving? Do you want to know more about Thanksgiving? You can ask me.(引导学生提问What do people do on Thanksgiving?) Simon will tell you more about Thanksgiving. Lets read.Read carefully and underline: What do people do on Thanksgiving?S:Simon says” We have a special meal. Its a big family dinner.” T:What do the eat? Look! How nice the food is.出示图片,并介绍传统食物。T:What do they say?S:They say “thank-you” for our food, family and friends.T:Can you tell me more about Thanksgiving?What do they do after dinner? They watch a big football game on TV . T:I think this time you know Thanksgiving so well. Do you know why it is called Thanksgiving? Do you know the origin of this festival? S1: Thanksgiving is about to thank the Indians in America. S2: Maybe it comes from some “thanks things”. T: OK, the following video will show us the origin of Thanksgiving. 3,听读课文,加深理解。Listen and circle“I, me, my, we, our”.Fill in the blanks with I, me, my, we, our”.(做后提供Grammar Tip指导学生复习此语言点)Follow and imitate.Read and retell in group.Step 3拓展1. 中西整合,交流写作。Talk out the festival pictures I give you. Choose your favourite festival, and then talk about it in your group. And write it down.2,感情升华,学会感恩No matter Thanksgiving or Mid-Autumn Festival, no matter American festivals or Chinese festivals. Children, I want to tell you: Where there is a festival, there is love.Step 4 作业1. Talk about your favourite festival with your friends.2. Write about your favouite festival.
