虚 拟 语 气虚 拟 语 气 表 示 说 话 人 所 说 的 不 是 事 实 , 而 是 想 象 , 假 设 , 建 议 , 打 算 , 意 见 , 间 接 命 令 , 愿 望 , 怀 疑 , 推 测 , 惊 异等 。虚 拟 语 气 在 条 件 从 句 及 主 句 中 的 使 用 ：1) If the hurricane had happened during the day time, there would have been more deaths. 如 果 飓 风 发 生 在 白 天 ， 那 么 死 亡 的 人数 会 更 多 。2) If everyone in the country knew first aid, many lives would be saved. 如 果 这 个 国 家 的 每 个 人 都 懂 得 急 救 , 那 么 许 多 生 命 就 可 以 得 到 挽 救 。3) If I saw him tomorrow, I should tell him. 如 果 我 明 天 看 到 他 , 我 会 告 诉 他 的 。 1) 与 过 去 事 实 相 反 ： 从 句 had done, 主 句 would/ should/ could/ might/+have done e.g. If he had been warned, he would not have taken that food. 如 果 有 人 提 醒 他 , 他 就 不 会 吃 那 些 食 物 了 。2) 与 现 在 事 实 相 反 ： 从 句 did/ were, 主 句 would/ should/ could/ might + do e.g. If I were you, I would refuse to do it. 如 果 我 是 你 , 我 就 拒 绝 做 这 件 事 。从 句 a. didb. should + do,c. were to +do 主 句 would/ should/ could/ might + do3) 与 将 来 事 实 相 反 ：e.g. If I did it, I would do it in a different way. If I should do it, I would do it in a different way. If I were to do it, I would do it in a different way. 如 果 我 去 做 这 件 事 , 我 将 会 用 一种 不 同 的 方 法虚 拟 语 气 在 宾 语 从 句 中 的 用 法在 动 词 : suggest, order, demand, propose, request, command, insist 等后 的 宾 语 从 句 中 , 用 虚 拟 语 气 (即should + do或 者 只 用 动 词 原 形 do),来表 示 愿 望 ,建 议 ,命 令 ,请 求 等 。 e.g. The doctor insisted that the patient (should) be X-rayed. 医 生 坚 决 主 张 病 人 做 X光 。 I suggest that we (should) set off at once. 我 建 议 我 们 应 该 立 即 出 发 。wish +宾 语 从 句 (虚 拟 语 气 ), 表 示 不可 能 实 现 的 愿 望1) 与 过 去 事 实 相 反 , 从 句 用 过 去 完 成式 ： had done2) 与 现 在 事 实 相 反 , 从 句 用 过 去 式 ：did/ were3) 与 将 来 事 实 相 反 , 从 句 用 should/ would/ could/ might +doe.g. I wish I had never met him. 我 真 希 望 我 从 来 没 遇 到 过 他 。 I wish I were as strong as you. 我 真 希 望 像 你 一 样 强 壮 。 I wish you would succeed this time. 但 愿 你 这 次 获 得 成 功 。as if 引 导 的 方 式 状 语 从 句 常 用 虚 拟 语 气1) 当 从 句 里 的 时 间 先 于 主 句 的 时 间 时 ,从 句 用 过 去 完 成 时 had done。e.g. He talks as if he had been to the moon. 他 高 谈 阔 论 就 好 像 去 过 月 球 一 样 。2) 当 从 句 里 的 时 间 与 主 句 的 时 间 是 同 一 时 间 时 ,从 句 用 过 去 式 did/ were。 e.g. He talked as if he were Napoleon. 他 说 话 的 时 候 就 好 像 他 是 拿 破 伦 一 样 。3) 当 从 句 里 的 时 间 后 于 主 句 的 时 间 时 , 从 句 用 would do。 e.g. He talked as if he would go to the moon. 他 高 谈 阔 论 就 好 像 要 去 月 球 一 样 。 would rather 后 接 从 句 ,也 可 用 虚 拟 语 气1) 叙 述 现 在 或 将 来 的 事 情 , 从 句 谓 语 动 词 用 过 去 式 。 e.g. I would rather you stayed here. 我 宁 愿 你 待 在 这 。 I would rather he came tomorrow. 我 宁 愿 他 明 天 回 来 。2) 叙 述 过 去 的 事 情 ,表 达 实 际 上 并 未 发 生 愿 望 时 ,从 句 用 过 去 完 成 时 。 e.g. I would rather he had come yesterday. 我 宁 愿 他 昨 天 回 来 。It is time that 虚 拟 形 式It is (high/ about) time that + 从 句 (过 去 式 )e.g. It is high time that you caught the bus. 是 时 候 你 刚 好 赶 上 公 共 汽 车 。 It is high time that we took actions to keep peace in the whole world. 是 时 候 我 们 该 采 取 行 动 维 护 世 界 和 平 了 。1.
