He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He is a member of the Corporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.As a student, he was awarded the MIT Traveling Fellowship, at Harvard. He later won a lot of honors.
