(提着一个贴有“MAGIC BOX(魔盒)”的箱子走上讲台,里面放有纸、钢尺、牙刷、CD、毛巾、墨水、火箭模型等实物和一些事物的图片。此部分用于复习一般现在时的被动语态的结构和用法,为导入新课做准备。)T:I have a magic box. Do you want to know whats in it?Ss:Yes.T:OK. (先摸出尺子。) Whats this in English?Ss:A ruler.T:Yes, its a ruler. Its used for measuring and drawing. Do you know what it is made of, S1?(让他/她摸一摸。)S1:Its made of “钢铁”.(同学们可能笑。)T:Well, its made of steel.(板书steel,领读并要求掌握。重复Its made of steel。)steel n.(摸出牙刷。) How do you say this in English, S2?S2:Sorry, I dont know.T:OK, it is a toothbrush.(板书toothbrush,领读并要求掌握。)toothbrush n.(作刷牙的动作。)Its used for brushing teeth. (走到S4的课桌前,轻敲其课桌。)T: Whats this in English, S4?S4:Its a desk.T:Whats it made of?S4:Its made of wood.(走到讲桌前,从魔盒中摸出一张纸,作神秘状。)T:How do you say this in English, S5?S5:Its a piece of paper.T:Can you tell me its material? (让其摸一摸,看一看。)S5:Sorry, I cant.T:I tell you it is made from wood. (慢!重音放在from。)(引导学生总结be made of与be made from的区别。板书并解释。)be made of + 材料:表示原材料容易看出。be made from + 材料:表示原材料经过化学变化,不易看出。Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈现(时间:7分钟)1. (从魔盒中摸出火箭模型。)T:Is it a nice model?Ss:Yes.T:Its a model rocket. Do you want to know who made it and what a rocket is used for? OK, lets begin our new lesson.(板书、释义。)rocket n.2. (让学生不要打开课本,听1a,回答下列问题。)T:Dont open your books. Listen to the tape carefully and try to find out the answers to the questions.(出示小黑板。)(1)Why is Jane unhappy?(2)Who made the model rocket?(3)What is the model rocket made of?(4)What is a rocket used for?3. (让学生打开课本,找出重难点句。教师出示小黑板。)Im not allowed to do sth.I wish I could go into space some day.(解释此句使用了虚拟语气,在此只要求了解。)Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 巩固(时间:8分钟)1. (让学生打开课本,再听1a录音,学生跟读,感受纯正的语音语调。) T: Open the books, listen to the tape and read after it. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.2. (让学生找出对话中的关键词,教师板书。然后让学生根据关键词两人对话复述1a。)T: Boys and girls, lets find out the key words together, OK?板书Janeunhappy / not allowed / be bad forKangkanga model rocket / be made of woodbe used for / satellites or spaceships / wish3. (让学生认真阅读1b中的例子,然后让他们仿照例子编对话,完成1b。)T:In 1b, we can see two dialogs. Read them carefully and pay attention to the sentence patterns, “be made of”, “be made from” and “be used for doing sth.”. Make similar conversations in pairs.Step 4 Practice 第四步 练习(时间:13分钟)1.
