For me, you shall be a kingdom of priests, a holy nation.,Moses takes the message to his people and they agree to the covenant,Then, God spoke and gave Moses the 10 commandments,(this is a summary of the story),The Ten Commandments of God,The 10 Commandments appear in the books of Exodus and Deuteronomy in the Old Testament,The first 4 commandments deal with the relationship with God,The last 6 regard the acts of men (humans),The following are from the New King James Bible,1,st,Commandment,I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.,You shall have no other gods before Me.,1,st,Commandment,You cant worship other gods (like Zeus, Buddha, Krishna, etc.),One and only one god.not like Ancient Greece,2,nd,Commandment,You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.
