Unit4 What can you do?A Lets learn一、教材分析：本单元教学重点是有关家务劳动的表述方法及相关的主要句型。本单元的大部分动词词组在四年级上、下册中都已经出现过，如：water the flowers, sweep the floor, set the table, make the bed等。这一单元学生将进一步学习有关家务劳动的表述方法及相关句型。本课时的是本单元的第一课时，学习本课的表达性语言项目：sweep the floor, clean the bedroom， water the flowers.，cook the meals， empty the trash等词汇和会话：Im helpful! I can sweep the floor.只有牢固掌握本课的学习内容才能为本单元其它课时的学习做好铺垫，打好基础。二、教学目标：1、能力目标：(1)能够简单介绍自己会做哪些家务劳动，如：I can clean the bedroom. I can cook the meals.(2) 能够听懂、说唱Lets chant部分的歌谣。2、知识目标：(1).能听、说、认读动词词组empty the trash和句子“Im helpful! I can sweep the floor.”(2).能够听说读写动词词组cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom.3、情感、策略、文化等有关目标(1).情感态度:养成讲究卫生、热爱劳动的好习惯,培养乐于助人的优秀品质。(2).学习策略:注重小组合作学习,培养相互沟通和交流的能力。三、教学重、难点分析1、本课时的教学重点是有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。2、本课时的教学难点是正确书写四个动词词组及运用句型：“I can”进行表述。四、教具准备：1、准备本节课所需要的教学课件。2、准备录音机及磁带。3、准备Lets learn部分的动作词卡及图片。五、教学过程：1、热身（Warm-up）（1）Greeting: T : Good morning/afternoon , boys and girls!S : Good morning/afternoon , MissKuang .T : How are you today ？S : Im fine ,thank you !T : What day is it today ?S : Its .T : What do you do on Saturdays?S : I read books/watch TV/do homework. T: Oh, You can read books/watch TV/do homework.Heres a chant, Lets chant , ok ?(2) Lets chant 播放start部分Lets chant的录音，让学生边听边看图并能理解歌谣的意思。 反复听2-3遍后，带领学生小声重复。 拍手掌握节奏，教师将Mike变成本班同学的名字进行提问：Tom, Tom, what can you do？提问3-4人。2. 划分小组全班分为四组，在学习过程中展开竞争，看哪个组得到的花朵多。3. 复习复习原来学过的动物，如：horse, elephant, monkey, duck等，同时问学生：“Duck, duck, what can you do?”学生回答后，教师把这些信息编成歌谣，如：Duck, duck, what can you do?I can swim, I can swim.Monkey, monkey, what can you do?I can climb. I can climb.Hose, horse, what can you do?I can run. I can run.Rabbit, rabbit, what can you do?I can jump. I can jump.全体同学起立并和老师一起吟唱，同时做出相应的动作。【设计意图】通过Lets chant ，学生对句子的读法及意义已基本掌握，在此基础上复习其他动物并编成有节奏的歌谣，吟唱歌谣和做出相应的动作，既可以营造轻松的英语气氛又使学生倍感兴趣，为引入新课打好基础。4. 总结以引入新课:T: Ducks can swim. Rabbits can jump. Horses can run. What can you do?”由于学生在二单元学过do homework，read books等词组，所以学生可能会答出如下答语：I can do homework. I can read books. 等。2、新课呈现（Presentation）（一）分步学习新单词a. 通过复习bedroom学习词组clean the bedroom（1）学习词组clean the bedroom:拿出bedroom词卡，复习它的拼写后，向大家介绍：“This is my bedroom. ”并做出拖地的动作。学生猜出后出示并认读词组clean the bedroom。（2）操练词组clean the bedroom:教师和学生同时做出拖地的动作并运用living room, bathroom, kitchen等词练习：What can you do? I can clean the b. 通过复习floor学习词组sweep the floor（1）学习词组sweep the floor教师用脚踏地，问学生：“Whats this?”然后教师拿起笤帚做扫地的动作同时问学生：“What can I do?”引出词组sweep the floor.（2）操练词组sweep the floor同位问答练习后，教师个别检查：What can you do? I can sweep the floor. 教师引出Youre helpful.c. 通过复习water学习词组water the flowers（1）学习词组water the flowers教师拿出事先准备好的矿泉水，学生会不由自主地说出“water”一词，教师再走到一花盆旁浇花，引出词组water the flowers。（2）操练词组water the flowers，并重点拼读flowers连锁反应练习这个词组，在每个学生答出“I can water the flowers. Im helpful.”后，全体学生拼读单词flowers。并用小组内学生字母接龙的方法展开竞争，巩固拼读单词flowers。d. 通过课件教学词组cook the meals（1）学习词组cook the meals课件呈现做饭画面，引出词组cook the meals并认读。（2）操练词组cook the mealsT：“Are you helpful at home, A?”教师引导该生回答“Yes. I can cook the meals.”然后该生问其他任意一个同学这个问题，依次类推，练习词组cook the meals。e. 通过实物及情景教学词组empty the trash（1）教师利用班内垃圾桶内的垃圾教学单词trash，然后做出倒垃圾的动作引出词组empty the trash。（2）操练词组empty the trash小组内操练句型What can you do? I can empty the trash.【设计意图】通过运用不同形式的呈现新词组的方式，可以保持学生对新知识的新奇感；通过通过运用不同形式的操练新词组的方式，可以使学生有效地巩固新词组及句型。6.Lets chant：教师改编一个chant,并用多媒体展现出来，让学生拍手吟唱：Sweep, sweep, sweep the floor.Cook, cook, cook the meals.Water, water, water the flowersClean, clean, clean the bedroomEmpty, empty, empty the trashIm, Im, Im helpful.（二）听录音模仿语音语调a. Listen / Repeat / Imitate播放Lets learn 部分录音，学生看课本跟读，同时手指单词,跟读模仿。b. Listen and number.听录音的同时，让学生对黑板上的词组进行排序。3、 巩固操练（Practice）（1）sharp eyes：通过幻灯片出示本节课所学所五个动词短语，当老师说：Begin时，同学们需要抢答出短语，看哪个小组抢答出获胜。（2）猜一猜：完成课文上的Lets play部分。派一位同学上台抽取教师准备好的英文卡，这位学生根据抽取的英文卡片做出相应动作，如用扫把做扫地的动作，台下全班同学齐猜：sweep the floor，若猜对了这位同学可大声说：Right!【设计意图】通过不同形式的比赛，既增加了趣味性，又有效地巩固了新词组，突破本课难点。4、Consolidation and extension（巩固与拓展）(1). Read and match. （读读并连线。）water the trash 打扫卧室sweep the floor 倒垃圾cook the flowers 做饭empty the bedroom 浇花clean the meals 扫地(2). Group work:教师示范后，小组操练句型：A: What can you do? B: Im helpful ! I can 布置小组合作完成调查表并进行反馈:Namesweep the floorcook the mealsClean the bedroomwater the flowersclean the window【设计意图】通过各种练习、总结、调查等方法，可以使学生充分巩固新词组。(3).拓展延伸（Extension）：出示多媒体图片：情感升华，教育同学们要热爱劳动：We should do housework at home. Were helpful. 在家里我们应该做家务，我们是有用的。【设计意图】教育学生在家里做力所能及的家务活，做一个对社会，对家庭有用的人。5、总结Summary Let a little teacher sum up what have we learned in this class.6、家庭作业（Homework）1、Listen to the tape and repeat three times.2.
