This unit mainly intends to teach students to retell what they did with English. Visiting is a part of our life. 2.The students are very interested in visiting some places. They are eager to use English to municate with others about their experiences. Teaching aims(教学目标) : knowledge aim: 1.能听、说、认读本课的重点单词:the British Museum, the London Eye, wheel, wonderful, understand, postcard; 2.能正确使用动词过去式;能利用句型What did you do? Where did you go? 询问别人过去做的事情。 ability aim: Improve students ability of listening, speaking and reading emotional aim: 培养学生学习的兴趣,鼓励学生积极合作,引导学生了解西方的名胜古迹。 Teaching important and difficult points(教学重难点) 1.Important point: master new words, phrases and the past form of verbs 2.difficult point: 在实际情境中运用表示询问及描述过去发生事情的句型 What did you do at the weekend?
