Students manage to read the words using the phonetics by themselves and mark the difficult words. 2. Especially read the difficult words in groups.3. Get one or two middle-level students to read all the words. Ask the good students to correct the wrong pronunciations. If necessary, the teacher corrects them.4. Read after the tape.5. Read aloud and the teacher walks around to see whether students have any questions. 【设计意图】首先学生自己根据音标识读单词,并标出识读时有困难的单词。接着两人一组或以小组为单位解决遇到的困难。然后找一俩个同学读单词,请好学生先纠正,还有问题,教师再更正。最后让学生跟录音读。培养学生自主、探究和合作学习的能力。 Step 2 :Task 1. There is a special guest. 【设计意图】通过展示图画,让学生直观地理解单词的意思,通过建立语境和语义之间的关系,促进理解、加深记忆,培养学生用英语思维的习惯。减少了学生对汉语的依赖,避免孤立地理解和记忆单词。Task 2. Remember the words by matching itself with its meaning.A. 盼望;期待B. 去旅行C. 照料;照顾D. 闲逛;常去某处E. 为做准备F. 前天G. 后天H. 接到(某人的)信、电话等1. prepare for2. hang out3. the day before yesterday4. the day after tomorrow5. look after6. take a trip7. look forward to8. hear from【设计意图】先让学生读三遍单词,加深语音记忆,然后让学生找到相应的汉语意思。通过此举,以便加深学生对词组的理解记忆。Task 3.Remember the words by their similar pronunciations. 1. prepare, care2. invite, write, white3. catch, touch, teach4. refuse, because, exercise5. reply, fly【设计意图】根据相同/似读音拼写单词。英语年是拼音文字,其读音和拼写有直接关系,建立单词音、形的对应关系能够让学生利用已经学过的单词去识读新单词。Task 4. Translate the phrases into English.1. 盼望;期待look forward to2. 去旅行 take a trip3. 照料;照顾look after4. 闲逛;常去某处hang out5. 为做准备prepare for6. 前天the day before yesterday7. 后天the day after tomorrow8. 接到(某人的)信、电话等hear from【设计意图】给出汉语意思,让学生记词组,有利于加深学生的再次记忆,有利于巩固所学新单词,做到见字亿词。Step 3 Task 1. Read the story and underline the new words.Tom is preparing for an exam, but he has the flu. He isnt available because he has to go to the doctor. The day before yesterday, Eric invited him to e to his birthday party. But he refused. Because he will look after his grandmother the day after tomorrow. He isnt available on weekdays and his parents are taking a trip. Without his parents, he has to look after himself. Tom looks forward to hear from his parents. The headmaster in his school is going to have a concert. Tom will e to the concert as a guest. Tom is very glad, he wont hang out that day.【设计意图】在语境中猜测词汇的意义。教学中不时所有的生词都要教,有些生词课让学生通过上下文(context)来猜测。Task 2.Translate the story into Chinese in groups of three.Tom is preparing for an exam, but he has the flu. My mom is p_ a big meal for our family now.二、英汉互译 1. 为做准备 _ 2. 期待;盼望 _ 3. 前天 _ 4. 后天 _ 5. 去旅行 _ 6. 接到(某人的)信、电话等_教学反思:亮点:今天这节关于单词的学习,我主要通过读单词、记单词、练习单词的方式来进行讲授。在教学过程中,体现学生为主体,教师为指导的形式。加强学生的个人训练和小组合作探究能力让学生在运用中掌握生词,整节课,学生一直处于观察和发现的探索过程,课堂气氛较为活跃。不足:在活动环节未能充分涉及全体学生,有部分学生未能参与。使用建议:学生的自主合作是上好课的关键,课上要多鼓励,给学生留出思考的时间,更要允许学生犯错误,这样学生才能更好的参与到学习中。另外,注意时间掌握,因单词过多,设计环节也较多,所以时间问题稍显紧张。Keys:Step2.
