Train the students ability of guessing the meaning of the words according to the context. Let students discuss and sum up how to write a review of a book, a movie or a singer with the Attributive Clause of who or that. Enable the students to know they should think about the pros and cons if they want to get a right conclusion. (目标引领:用一段话表达了本节课的知识、能力和情感目标,一目了然。)Step1.Pre-reading activities.1.Revision. T: I like singers who sing the words clearly. What kind of singers do you like?S1: I like the singers who look cool.The teacher should give the students a model, then let them talk about their favorite singers, books and movies in pairs by using the structures: “A: What kind of singers/books/movies do you like?B: I like the singers whoI like the books/movies that”(设计意图:李宇春、阿衰和大话西游II 是众所周知的,学生都非常喜欢。创设了轻松的学习氛围,巧妙组织英语课堂教学,拉近了与学生之间的距离且激发了学生的学习积极性。老师先给学生做个例子,然后让学生同位之间练习这个对话。这样既复习了上节课的内容,检查了学生对于上节课知识的巩固情况,又能够为本节课的Pair work做好铺垫。2.Preview Ask the students to translate the following Chinese into English.
