What will you need to do it? etc. PronunciationWrite down all the sound symbols from the previous three units on the board and ask if the students can pronounce each sound.T: Today, we will start with pronunciation. The focused sounds we have learned through Unit 1 to 3 are as follows. Read every sound.Tell the students to match the phonetic symbol to the word with the sound and write one more word for each sound.T: First, match the sound to the word presented, then write more words that have each sound.Go over each sound. To add interest, develop this part as a word game. The students can work in pairs or groups. The group with the most words wins the game.T: Great! And let me remind you that you need to know how to pronounce each word. You may not have perfect pronunciation like someone born in an English-speaking country, but it is important to acquire clear and prehensible pronunciation if you want to municate well.StressListen and circle the stressed syllable.T: Mark the stressed syllables of the words in bold first. After that, we will listen to the sentences. You probably know how to say the words properly. I believe it wont be too hard for you to mark the stressed syllables even before listening to the tape. pare your marks with your partners. Do you agree on every word?S: Yes / No.T: Good. Lets check the correct answers now by listening. Now, tell me, where does the stress fall on wallet?S: It falls on the first syllable. I want you to practice the dialogue with your partner.Have the students choose one of the situations and create their own dialogues.1.
