2019-2020年高中英语 Unit40 告知友人旅游函书信通March 18, xxDear Joyce,I got back to Bangkok a few days ago. I was very happy to find two letters from you waiting for me at the post office. My two weeks in India were exciting. Among other things, I saw the Taj Mahal. It is really as beautiful as everyone says.To answer a few of your questions, I usually stay in cheap hotels which are listed in my guidebook. Most of them cost under US$10 a night. The food is great. In Thailand and India they have a lot of spicy food, which I like, and in Nepal they have lots of really cheap Western-style restaurants for travelers. The people in all the three places are friendly. Of course, not everyone speaks English, but people who deal with tourists a lot speak at least a little.All the places Ive visited are very interesting, but if I had to pick one, Id say Katmandu is the most interesting.
