Skimming is a type of rapid reading which is used to get the main idea or ideas Scanning is used to locate some specific information without understanding the whole passage.2.Let the Ss to use the scanning skillsLet The Ss to read No.1 and understand the requirementLet the Ss to use Scanning skills to read the text Then answer questions of Exercise 1 choose the best answersTell them this time its not necessary to plete reading,only finding the necessary information is Ok.Let them to check in pairs then teacher corrects it .3.
