Subject:Fire DrillDepartment:SecuritySection:10In order to familiarize all hotel personnel with fire drill procedures, fire and emergency evacuation drill will be carried out in monthly basis to the Hotel employees and for key personnel only (Security / Engineering, Assistant Manager) random drills will be carried out once per shift monthly.Full Drill1) Security Manger to arrange full drills with prior approval of Manager.2) Security Manger to co-ordinate drill requirements such as liaise with relevant authorities, staff / departments concerned and the guests (via a hotel letter drawn up by the Communications Manager).3) Alarm will be activated in designated areas, and the personal pager system will be activated to also alert specific code 999XX (the last two digits to show the floor / area).4) In the event of any full drill being conducted a guest letter should be issued to alert guests of the drill to avoid confusion / panic during the drill.5) Security Manager to submit a report after the drill.Random Drill1) Random drills are to be conducted at the discretion of the Security Manger and occur at least once per shift monthly. 2) Alarms will not be activated during random drills, communication of the drill is via the in-house paging system code 999XX (the last two digits to show the floor / area).3) Report back on effectiveness / time taken etc. to the Manager within 24 hours of drills completion.4) All random drills to be logged in the Assistant Manager daily log book and Security Occurrence Book for reference.Date:08.07.1998Supersedes issue of:15.03.1994Issued by:Billy FongApproved by:Mr Philippe CarettiPage:1/1
