So he ordered his ministers to cover every road with leather (皮革) so that the people in his country could walk comfortably.The ministers were surprised at his order as it would mean that thousands of cows would have to be killed in order to get enough leather.Then one of them came up to the king and said that he had another idea. “Instead of covering the roads with leather, why dont you just have a piece of leather cut in proper shape to cover your feet?” he suggested.The king praised the minister.
