实践教学内容专科学生的英语基础较弱，本课程帮助具有一定英语基础的学生较快地提高阅读计算机专业英语资料（包括计算机屏幕英语，计算机应用软件及系统软件的英语手册，计算机类的英语书籍和论文）的能力。要求掌握1000个左右常用科技词汇和计算机专业词汇，能阅读理解一般难度的科技英语（能够运用语法知识分析长句及复合句的结构，准确理解其意义），并且达到一定的阅读速度（每分钟40个英语单词）。1、通过多种教学媒体的讲解，使学生对本课程的基本内容有比较深刻的认识和较全面的掌握；2、文字媒体的编写要求全面系统，条理清晰、通俗易懂；网络媒体资源的建设要有针对性。3、要求学生采用个别化自主学习、协作学习、集中化学习等多种学习方式，教师采用讲练式、讨论式等教学方式，发挥导学、助学、学等作用。提倡学生参加适当的社会实践，以巩固所学知识；4、在组织教学过程中，将通过网上教学平台进行远程教学辅导，发布教学信息。5、在课外作业上特别安排了针对性较强的英语文章的阅读来提高学员的阅读理解能力。6、网上课堂的补充练习中提供了听力联系，使英语基础较好的同学在词汇理解的基础上能够加强听力理解。三、 本课程性质、作用和任务本课程是“计算机应用技术”专业和“计算机软件设计”专业必修的技术基础课，是一门深入学习计算机知识的英语版的课程。通过本课程的学习，使学生掌握计算机专业方面的英语词汇和习惯表达方式、用英语组织表达计算机理论和实践操作的语句、描述专业英语语句的基本格式和主要的语法，提高使用英语获取专业知识和信息的能力，提高英语阅读和翻译能力，能够比较熟练地看懂计算机屏幕信息的英语提示、菜单、帮助文件及出错信息，能够从英文资料中获取知识。通过课本中的新选编的前沿论文和原版教材的课文学习，了解计算机专业发展的动态和方向，为熟练阅读英文的计算机技术文献、资料和书籍、为进一步学习国内外的计算机方面的知识打下良好基础。二、 本课程与其它有关课程的联系与分工计算机专业英语的先修课程是：英语（1）（2），计算机应用基础，程序设计基础，软件技术基础。后续课程为各专业的相关专业基础课。三、 本课程的基本要求1、课程总体目标本课程总的教学目标是使学生掌握计算机专业方面的英语词汇，能够达到熟练阅读科技文章、屏幕提示、帮助文档、用户手册等计算机专业英语资料，提高使用英语获取专业知识和信息的能力，为今后进一步学习国内外计算机知识奠定良好的英语基础。2、知识要求(1)掌握计算机科学与技术专业方面的英语词汇；(2)能正确理解计算机科学与技术专业的文献资料；(3)了解专业英语语句的基本格式和主要的语法；(4)具备一定的用英语组织表达计算机理论和实践操作语句的能力。3、能力要求(1)学习和掌握计算机应用中的英语知识，包括常见的技术英语语法、句型、常用词组；(2)掌握技术英语的阅读方法，掌握一定数量的计算机专业的英语词汇，提高对计算机专业科技文献的听力。(3)为进一步学习专业课程，查阅计算机专业英语文献奠定基础。4、课外作业要求课外作业要求学生在规定的时间内完成教师布置的英语作业，并按时上交，老师批阅，作为总评成绩中期末成绩的依据。5、考核要求(1)平时成绩评定 平时成绩20分，包括：作业10分，考勤10分；作业成绩至少要记录10次以上，每次1分；每次课记录学生的出勤情况，旷课1节扣1分（事假的缺课2节扣1分，无请假单的视为旷课），3次迟到或早退算旷课1节。(2)期末成绩评定期末成绩80分。考试要求：考核重点是考察学员是否掌握计算机应用中的英语知识，包括常见的专业英语语法、句型、常用词组，并具有一定的翻译能力。具体考核要求分为几个层次： 熟练掌握：要求学生能够全面、深入理解和熟练掌握所学内容，例如专业英语课文中出现的基本专业词汇、词组和句型，以及其中涉及的计算机专业知识等，并能够在此基础上具备熟练运用基本专业英语词汇和词组的能力。 掌握：要求学生能够较好地理解和掌握相应内容，例如在掌握专业外语词汇和词组的基础上阅读和翻译难度适当的文献等。 了解：要求学生能够一般地了解所学内容，例如在课文后的补充阅读材料中出现的专业词汇、词组和涉及的计算机专业知识等。 组卷原则： 在教学大纲和考核说明所规定的目的、要求和内容范围之内命题。在教学内容范围之内，根据专业外语的实际应用，考察学员专业外语综合应用能力的试题，不属于超纲。 试题的考察要求覆盖面广，并适当突出重点。 试题兼顾各个能力层次，熟练掌握 60%，掌握占30%，了解占10%。 试题的难易程度和题量适当，按难易程度分为三个层次：较易占 30%，一般占50%，较难占20%。题量安排立足于平时基本能够独立完成作业的学生，以他们能在规定的考试时间内完成试题并有一定的时间检查为原则。(3)总评成绩评定总评成绩=平时成绩（20%）+期末成绩（80%）四、 本课程各部分内容的教学要求1、要求学生掌握每篇课文的科技英语单词。2、能够理解每篇课文的主要内容。3、鉴于学生在学习专业英语时普遍表现出来的长句难句分析能力较差的情况，建议同学们适当补习一下必要的语法知识。可以选取一本正规出版社出版的英语语法书，能系统地看一遍，至少应重点学习以下内容：（1）被动语态。（2）句子成分分析：u 定语：重点在各种后置定语，如定语从句，分词短语，不定式短语等（一定要注意，中文里定语一般都是放在被修饰词之前，而英语里定语经常放在被修饰词后面，所以在进行两种语言的翻译时，必须注意思维及表达方式的转变）。u 状语：重点在分词短语及独立主格结构。u 补语（或称为宾语补足语，放在复合宾语一节中论述）。（3）非限定动词：不定式，动名词，现在分词，过去分词的用法。这部分在英语表达中起着十分灵活的作用，在科技英语中特别活跃，然而却是中国学生学习英语的主要困难之一。五、 教学内容、重点和难点（一）Arranging Your Workspace1、教学内容（1）理论教学内容How to arrange your workspace.Five computer.（2）实践教学内容阅读基本要素指导：速度、理解率2、教学重点（1）阐明科技英语的特点和学习方法，要求学生一方面要重视科技词汇的积累，另一方面要重视学习长句难句的结构分析方法。（2）难句讲解。（3）补习语法知识“动名词的功能和运用”。3、教学难点长句难句的结构分析方法。科技词汇量的积累。（二）Setting Up Your Computer1、教学内容（1）理论教学内容How to set up your computer?Six parts: starting your computer, displays, disk drives, diskette, keyboards, adding hardware.（2）实践教学内容计算机英语论文与图书结构的特点.2、教学重点（1）难句讲解。（2）补习语法知识“过去分词的功能和运用”。3、教学难点重点词汇的理解、把握。（三）Keyboard1、教学内容（1）理论教学内容The keyboard is your primary means of communicating with your computer.Four parts: （2）实践教学内容文章的章法（之一）：文章的结构，文章的层次。2、教学重点（1）本文是一篇计算机英语科普读物，语言难度和专业程度都不太高，适合用来作为阅读理解的训练材料。着重培养学生的“泛读”能力，既要求在理解程度上有足够的准确性，也要求达到一定的阅读速度。（2）注意科技英语中各种有关“数量”的表达方法。3、教学难点长句的理解，科技词汇量较多。（八）Computer Software
