free,.我们什么时间有空,我们就去那里。,when,指的是“某一具体的时间”。,whenever,指的是“在任何一个不具体的时间”。,2.when/while/as(当的时候),when,既可指某一时间点,也可指一段时间,;,while,引导的动作必须是持续性的;,as,强调主句和从句的动作(由同一个人)同时发生。翻译成“一边一边”,1)When/As/While we were if,given,assuming,suppose/supposing,providing/provided,2,注意点:,分清真实条件句和非真实条件句,非真实条件句中要用虚拟语气,目的状语从句,1.so that/in order that,从句中常用情态动词,may(might)/can(could),/should,当从句中的谓语与主句中的谓语一致时,,,in order that+,句子可以换成,in order to+do,so that+,句子可以换成,so as to+do,eg.I sit in the front in order that/so that I can hear the teachers clearly.,I sit in the front in order to/so as to hear the teachers go.万一下雨,他们就 不去了。3)Take an umbrella with you for fear of rain.,带上一把伞,以免下雨。,in case,指“假如某情况出现,我们要”,for fear,指“我们要以免某种情况出现”,不过,两者的区别好像不是很明显。,更多的例句,in case of(+n.),以防,假如,如果发生,1)In case of emergency,break
