The area near the ocean is especially dramatic, with giantdark cliffs rising out of the water.I also think Id enjoy the slower pace of Ireland. Its so different fromthe busy pace of my country . Of course, Irelands big cities are just as hecticas any big city anywhere. But many of the Irish live in smaller towns or onfarms in rural areas. Visiting these places is very restful. People dont feelthe need to stick to a schedule . Things get done , but in a much more relaxedfashion. In my country ,theres the feeling that youre always late forsomething. In Ireland ,it feels like youve never late because no one stays onschedule.Most of all, it would be interesting for me to meet the cousins in mymothers family. They live in Donegal . I could see the house where mygrandmother grew up and where my cousins still live. This house is connected toa lighthouse. Athome, it would be so easy to turn off the computer or the television and go dosomething else. I might tell myself that its okay to play a computer game nowand make up the study hours later. Chances are, Id never make up the studyhours.Im all in favor of using technology in the classroom. I think computersand television are great ways for students to have access to a lot ofinformation. I just dont think they should be the only tools I have as astudent. I also need teachers and other students to help me get a completeeducation
