School education or Family education School education or Family education Background: As we all know, education is always an important part of our whole life. The prosperity of a nation, any development in science and technology all depend on the development of education. It is necessary for all kinds of people to receive education. When we were born, we were taught by our parent, which is called family education”, then we went to school to get the knowledge from the teachers, which is called school education. Both of the forms are important for everyone who has received education. While today, I want to talk about which of the form is more important, School education or family education? Opposing points: Some people hold that school education is more important than family education. In their opinion, school education is the pattern for students which people generally accept, and find a job need some examination. The last, in school we can learn how to communicate with people. My points: From my point, family education is more important than school education. My reasons are as follows. Firstly, there is an old Chinese saying: parents are childrens first teachers. The family is the cradle of our life, family education is the starting point and the basic point of education. Here I get a research: if a persons intelligence reaches the level as 100% when he was 17, then when he was 5 years old he reached 50%, 5to8 years old he reached 80%. So before the age of 5 is the best period to accept early education. If children were educated by parents in this period, they will have good foundation for the future. Secondly, family education is easy to accept. After the birth of children, almost 2/3 of the time they living in the family, parents give them a silent transforming influence. This kind of education is performed all the time. Like the fames film Forrest Gump, in the film, Gumps mom told him that “life was like a box of chocolate, you never known what are you have goanna get.” This sentence has affected Gumps whole life. Whats more, the blood relationship between parents and children lead to the dependence upon their parents, and a great restriction. Thirdly, different from school education，family education is one to one, and face to face. Parents get on with children, even a look, a smile can make parents appreciate childrens thought and change, also can find the problems through childrens every act and every word, then find a solution, not let the problem overnight. But in school, teachers face a dozen of children, because the limit of time and energy, they may not care each childs characteristics and problems. Conclusion: To sum up, family education is more important than school education, through family education we all grow up with parents love and hope, besides knowledge, we learn something different that school education can never teach us.
