2019-2020年牛津译林版高中英语选修六Unit 2What is happiness to you(Task2)教学设计教材:牛津高中英语(模块6)高二上学期文档内容:教学设计教案单元:Unit 2 What is happiness to you?板块:Task 1Thoughts on the design: 本节课以帮助朋友解决困难为线索,让学生从倾听和阅读中判断负面情绪和发现问题,在讨论中寻找解决对策,同时学会采取把大问题分割成几个小问题的策略。通过一系列的听说活动,提高听力技巧,改善口语表达水平,培养乐于助人的优良品质, 并学会在学习和业余爱好间找到平衡。Teaching aims:After learning this period, the students will be able to:1. identify negative emotional language and find out the problems behind it. 2. break a big question into smaller ones to discuss and give advice to solve the problems.3. municate with others more effectively through listening and speaking.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Lead-in (PPT1-3) I have a friend called Majie. He is always a happy boy fond of playing basketball. However, nowadays he is rather stessed. Can you help me to give him some advice? So first, we have to know about his problem. Explanation从介绍朋友马杰入手,激发学生发现问题,解决问题的兴趣,为进入下一步的阅读及听力作好铺垫。Step 2 Identifying negative emotional languages and problems (PPT4-11)1. Read a letter of Majie on your schools website to find the negative language he used to describe his problem.2. More vocabulary to describe negative emotions.3. Make sentences by using the above vocabulary.4. Listen to two pieces of listening material to learn more about his problem and why his solutions didnt work. Explanation通过马杰贴在校园网上的一封信,了解他的问题,并学会一些单词、短语及句子表达负面情绪。然后通过两段听力,了解有关信息,培养听力技能。Step 3 Discuss solutions by breaking a big question into smaller ones (PPT12-16)1. Ask the students: Who do you usually talk with when you meet with a problem?2. Skills building: breaking a big question into smaller ones.Ask students to think of the question: How can I improve my grades?Before answering it, we can ask several small questions to make it less plicated. Suggested answers: l What subjects do you find hard and need to improve on?l What is your problem in these subjects?l Is that because you have not spent enough time on them?l What have you done to improve on these subjects? Did you use good study methods in these subjects?l What are your short-term and long-term goals in these subjects? Have you set proper goals?3.
