Tuck the cloth into the bite-line located in the back of the seat and smooth the wrinkles out of the cloth.2.Pick OSCAR up by holding the T-Bar and torso weight retainer. Lift him in the closed position and keep him from folding out. Gently place Oscar on to the centerline of the seat.3.Attach the both leg assemblies at the 4.5-inchmark on the inside of the T- Bar.The T-Bar andleg assemblies should be locked into position atthe 95 percent mark.4. Load lower leg and thigh weights. Check to ensure that the T- Bar is parallel to the ground or refer to the level at the base of Oscar to ensure proper positioning.5. While Oscar s torso is forward, use the T- Bar to pull Oscar about 1 to 2 inches away from the seat back. Let him slide gently back until the back pan contacts the seat back.6. Using a digital force gauge , apply a 22 pound load twice to the spring located at the intersection of the hip angle quadrant and the T- Bar. Keep Oscar from sliding forward in the seat.7. Holding the T- Bar and using no pressure, push the torso to the seat back.8. Hold the T- Bar, load the right and left buttock weights.9. Alternate sides as you load the eight upper torso weights.10. Holding the T-Bar, gently rock Oscar 5 degrees toeach side for three complete cycles.Watch thebubble gage to ensure that 5 degrees ofmovement is reached butnot exceeded .11. Return Oscar s feet to their original location on the floor pan and check to ensure Oscar remainslevel.12. Holding the T-Bar and using no pressure, push Oscar s torso to the seat back.13. Apply a rearward force, perpendicular to the hip angle bar, just above the torso weights that is equal to 15 pounds of force or enough to movethe hip angle 3 degrees.This will set Oscar storso to the seat back.Repeat this process atleast three times or until a consistent hip angle ismaintained.14. Record back angle measure15. Record hip angle measure16. Record average of both foot angle measure(s)17. Record average of both knee angle measure(s)18. Record H-Point measure(s)2
