Unit 4 What are you doing?一、教学内容:第一课时:Main Scene A. Lets learn A. lets play 二、教学目标:1.认知目标:(1)能听、说、读、写动词短语的ing形式:drawing pictures, doing the dishes, cooking dinner, reading a book, answering the phone.(2)能运用句子“What are you doing? What is she/he doing?(3)能够听懂会唱歌曲:What are you doing?3.情感目标:了解中国及主要英语国家的紧急求救号码,培养学生热爱生活的美好情感。三、教学重难点1.教学重点:句型“What are you doing? I am .”,并能在情景中进行应用。动词及动词短语的现在进行时的表达,即ing形式。2.教学难点:动词ing形式的读音和句型在实际情景中语言运用的能力。四、教学准备:1.教学方法:情景教学法、交际教学法、游戏教学法。2.教具准备电话等道具:录音机及录音带、动词和动词短语卡片和图片。学生每人准备一张白纸,并自己提前制作盘子、炒锅等图片或用玩具、实物代替。五、教学过程:Step Leadingin Sing a song教师播放C部分Lets sing 部分的歌曲 “What are you doing ”的录音,请同学跟着录音唱歌曲并做动作。激发学生学习英语的兴趣,做好上英语课的准备。 Free talk T: What are you doing in the kitchen? S1:I am cooking dinner. T: What are you doing in the art room? S2: in the 教师设置不同情景,请同学用上节课学过的 “I am ”句型. 说出完整的句子。然后让每个同学说自己在某地正在干什么,这样可以使更多的同学得到锻炼机会,有更多的说的机会。也可让同学自由发言,如:I am doing the dishes in the kitchen.Step Pre-task Lets try (1)教师出示Lets try部分的图,让学生说说图中的人正在干什么事情。(2)听录音,完成Lets try.Lets talk(1)T:刚才你们知道Sarah和John 的情况,How about Amy and Chen jie? I am .”。3.情感目标:使学生体验学习,参与,合作,竞争的乐趣。三、教学重难点:1.教学重点:掌握四会句型What are you doing?Im2.教学难点:“This is .”作为电话用语的意义理解;“Do you want to go to the Childrens Center?”的理解和朗读。“oo, ou, tr, tw”组合的发音规律并能正确拼写四会句型。四、教学准备:1.教学方法:情景教学法、交际教学法、游戏教学法。2.教具准备等道具:录音机及录音带、动词和动词短语卡片和图片。学生每人准备一张白纸。五、教学过程:Step Leading-in(1)Lets sing教师播放C部分Lets sing 部分的歌曲 “What are you doing ?”的录音,请同学跟着录音唱歌曲并做动作。(2)Free talk T:(ring)Hello, this is Miss Deng.S1: Hello, this is T: What are you doing?S1: I am T: Lets play football.S1: OK!(教师与学生1通完电话后,让学生再打电话另一同学,一个接一个,请4-5组同学。)Step Pretask(1)师生问答,自由对话。根据学生朗读Lets talk部分的内容提问:What is Chen Jie doing?学生回答:Drawingpictures.引导学生说:She is drawingpictures.接着询问:What is Amy doing?学生回答:She is reading a book.用此问答,引导学生表述他人在做什么的语句。(2)利用图片,激发兴趣。 教师出示准备好的一幅画,并询问:What is Amy/Mike doing?学生看图回答:He/ She s singing/ dancing/ playing ping-pong/drawing pictures/ playing the piano.(3)分散难点,及时巩固。But what is John doing? What is Zhang Peng doing? What are they talking about? Please listen to the tape.接着播放Read and write的录音,要求学生带着问题认真听。听过之后,回答:What is John doing? What is Zhang Peng doing?学生找出答案:Johns doing the dishes. Zhang Peng is talking.告诉学生打电话时若想告诉对方自己是谁,不能说:I am.而应该说:This is / Its .对其它重难点句子的阅读也要做必要解释并带读,如:I am talking to you. Do you want to go to the Childrens Center?鼓励学生看书上的图案,试读对话Step Whiletask1Listen to the tape and read.2Read the text in a group of four.3Check some groups.4Game:红旗不倒 在教室的四个角落分别贴好四个动作短语ing形式的卡片,如:doing the dishes, answering the phone, drawing pictures, reading a book 等。请五名学生上来,其中的四名学生分别朝四张卡片的方向站好,另一名学生站在中间手扶着红旗。游戏开始,四名学生齐声问:What are you doing? 中间的学生任选一张卡片上的动词短语作答如:Im reading a book. 答完后立即放开扶着红旗的手,与朝向reading a book短语卡片方向站立的学生交换位置。如果交接迅速,红旗不倒,则继续游戏;否则,游戏结束。Step Posttask A short passage 教师接着游戏,让台上的同学做着动作站着说:Look,Ben is reading a book. Sally is cooking dinner. Billy is answering the phone. Davis is drawing a pen. (写在白板上展示出来。) Can you say something about your friends? 四人小组内进行,共同完成小作文后在班上演读出来。(2)出示单词:cool, goose, school, boots ,指导拼读。(3)完成“Answer the questions”的活动。(4) Do some exercisesA.根据问句,选择最佳答句。( )1.
