To help them to know more about friendship.五、教学重点、难点 Teaching important points:Use the given adjectives and sentence structures to describe one of your friends. Learn to evaluate friends and friendship. Teaching difficult points:Describe one of your good friends in certain words and expressions.Discuss with partners and find out ways to solve the problems.六、学情分析 学生特点：作为刚上高中的学生，对高中的一切都还充满好奇，学习主动向强，应该有意识的在这方面给他们加强鼓励，培养他们对英语的兴趣，这对他们今后三年的学习具有深远影响。同时在情感方面，高中生特别注重友谊，他们对本单元的知识比较有兴趣。能力上，高一新生已经学了初中英语，掌握了1500左右的词汇，已经非常熟悉英语课堂，对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣，但是英语的听读能力还有待于加强；学生有过较多的小组合作经验，思维活跃，善于和同学交流，乐于表达自己的观点，对事物已有独自见解，渴望获得同学和教师的赞许；作为高一的孩子，具有较强的探究欲望，思维能力基本实现从具体思维向抽象思维的过渡。信息素养上，学生具有课堂学习环境下学习的经验，了解计算机操作，具有初步的在多媒体教室学习的经验。七、教学程序 Step 1.（5分钟） 导入：用多媒体放一段关于几个人介绍自己的朋友的视频，引起学生兴趣，然后请三位同学谈一下自己的朋友，同时告诉学生自己其中一个朋友的特点，并要求每位同学想想自己的朋友的特点。 Step2. （15分钟）a. 让同学把自己想到的朋友的特点的词写到纸上（5个词左右），然后采用问答：你们觉得朋友之间需要什么？What should your friend be like? b. 根据学生的回答写出几个主要的词如：诚实、勇敢、幽默、友好、聪明、帅气、友善、负责的、有帮助的。 c. 和学生一起找出几个词对应的英文单词，使学生熟悉关于友谊的一些形容词，为交流对话做铺垫。 d. 让学生两人一组，用这些词进行对话： What should your friend be like? - I think a good friend should (not) beIn my opinion, a good friend is someone who-I (dont) think I (dont) think so. Step3. （5分钟）播放单词录音，整体朗读，教师必要时范读， 熟悉单词为接下来的warming up 和pre-reading做准备。 Step4. （10分钟）要求学生做warming up部分选择题，并评估自己得的分数。并讲解各题，让学生了解更多怎样与朋友相处维持友谊，处理朋友之间的问题，学到正确的友谊观。 Step5. （5分钟）Group discussion 四人一组讨论问题：Topic 1: Why do you need friends? Make a list of reasons why friends are important to you.Topic 2: Does a friend always have to be a person? What else can be your friend? Why? 讨论的过程中加入各组讨论，讨论后给学生的讨论进行总结，引导学生用I (dont) think I (dont) think so. I (dont) agree. I believe Thats correct. Step6. （5分钟）总结，总结本节课所学的内容，稍作复习教学难点。Ask Ss themselves to summarize what is friendship and what is the most important in making friends. Step7. （备选）听音乐 AULD LANG SYNE八、板书设计板书分三块 左：主要写有关友谊的形容词如：honest, friendly, brave, humorous, funny, wise, kind, open-minded, responsible, helpful.中：Useful expressions for reference:I (dont) think I (dont) think so.
