Teaching Steps:一、 Greeting:二、 Tree talk三、 New Teaching:(一) Some new words1. past n. 过去、往事 常与the连用 eg: in the past 在过去 （一般过去时的时间状语） prep. 过、经过 half past six六点半 walk past the post office 步行经过邮局 adj. 过去的 in the past six years 在过去的六年中（现在完成时的时间状语）2. present n. 现在、目前 eg: at present 目前3. light rail 轻轨 rail 铁轨、轨道 复数rails eg: He likes to travel by rail. 他喜欢乘火车旅行。4. peak tram 山顶电车5. tram 有轨电车 复数 trams eg: In Hong Kong, we can see trams often. 在香港，我们常常会见到有轨电车。6. ferry n. 渡船、渡口 复数ferries eg: In the past, we went across the river by ferry. 以前，我们乘渡船过河。7. since prep. 自以来 since+过去时间点 eg: since 1990 since last year since + 从句 （以上结构常用于完成时中）Read 、understand and try to recite the new words.(二) Look at the pictures and listen to the tape, then try to answer the following questions.
