Starter Unit 2 Whats this in English?教案课 题Starter Unit 2 Whats this in English?教学目标1. 学习字母 IiRr。2. 学习key等词汇。3. 学习确认物体。4. 学习a/an 的初步用法。5. 了解一些英语缩略词的意思。教材分析预备篇的主要内容为26个字母和最基本的英语日常用语。教材的编写主要是帮助那些没有英语基础的学生更好地使用本套教材,同时又帮助有一点基础的学生尽快熟悉教材中的人物,激发他们的自信心,增强说英语的兴趣。学情分析学法指导激发他们的自信心,增强说英语的兴趣。教学重点1. 学习key等词汇。2. 学习确认物体。教学难点1. a/an 的用法;2. 了解一些英语缩略词的意思。教学过程设计Step 1 Warming up1. Good morning/afternoon/evening!How are you?Im fine, thanks. How are you? Im OK.2. Sing the alphabet song 教学过程设计Step 2 Games and listening1. Teacher shows a letter quickly and asks: “Whats this?” Get the students to answer the questions like this: “I think its A / B.”2. Then show the whole of the letter to let the students check whether theyre right or wrong. 3. Go through the letters AaHh quickly, pay attention to the intonation. Then play a game: listen and pick the right letter, then arrange the letters in the right order and read loudly. 4. Work on 1a. Look for the small letters in the picture for these big letters. Check the ones you find.5. Finish 1b. Listen and repeat.Listen to the 1a twice, Ss repeat.6. Pair work1) Ss work in pairs.2) Ss practice the conversation with partners.3) Make their own conversation according to 1a.Step 3 Presentation Teach the letters IiRr, using: Whats this in English? Its I / J/- Step 4 Listen, look and say1. 2a, listen to the tape and repeat.2. 2b, listen to the tape and write the number of the letters in the boxes according to the order in which you hear them. Play the recording twice and check the answer. 3. 2c, look at the letters in 2c, Ss copy the letters.4. 2d, write the missing big letter or small letter for each pair.Step 5 A Guessing game 1. Teacher shows a part of a letter and asks: “Whats this?” Get the students to answer the questions like this: “I think its A / B.”2. Then show the whole of the letter to let the students check whether theyre right or wrong. Step 6 Look and learn 1. Work on 2e. 2. Teacher shows more special letters. 3. Teacher shows the letters very quickly and get the students to call out the letters they see. 2. Using the letter pictures to teach new words: map, key, pen, ruler, quilt, jacket and orange. Step 3 Listen, look and sayWork on 3a. Listen and number the picture 1-8 in 3a.Listen and complete the words under the pictures in 3a.Step 4 A Guessing game. Whats the word?1. Teacher thinks of a word that the Ss know. Draw a dash on the Bb for each letter. Get a student to suggest a letter. 2. Then another student and another letter until they get all the letters of the words.3. Show the picture which match the word and ask: Whats this in English? A, E, hour, uniform, M(注意:元音音素,辅音音素指的是读音,而不是元音字母或辅音字母。)定冠词是 ,表示特指或上文提到下文接着说的人或物。2.
