C。在第二自然段的第1句就告诉我们they left Panama, Simony, they met some whales 说他们是在Simony 旅游时遇见Whales.2. B。 They started to hit the side of the boat,也就是说是the whales broke the side of the boat。3. D。在他们的船沉没之后,the couple是一直待在船上直至获救的,而不是一直都在jumped into the life-raft。4. B。 They also had a fishing-line and a machine to make salt water into drinking water-two things which saved their lives可知:a fishing-line 和 a machine救了他们的命。5. D。 After fifty days at sea. 1. B。文章的第1句说TheFrenchman是staying with his wife at the best hotel,可推知答案。2. B。 3. A。 Mr. Harris changed his work,所以他才移居到另一个小镇。2. C第2段的Weve been to a lot of other peoples houses告诉了我们他们之所以举办宴会的原3. C。 One day his wife was ill and he had no money. He had to sell some cabbages and carrots in the market 可知答案为B。2. D。 But it was raining hard that afternoon and there were few people in the street 可知答案为 D。3. D。 5. A。 1. B。 根据第1段 his young patient got well and was soon able to get up and run about again 2. D。 根据a little present like that is very nice between friends, but a doctor needs to be paid properly for what he has done 可知答案为 D。3. D。 根据 The lady was so surprised and hurt so much that she could not reply for a moment 4. C。
