Presentation (15 )1)Ask and answer.T: How many days are there in a week?Ss: There are seven days in a week.T: How many days are there in a year?Ss: There are 365 days in a year.T拿出准备好的日历,ask Ss:How many months are there in a year? 借助日历让学生理解months的含义,并板书months.2)Look, listen and read by themselves.1.播放录音,教师随着录音的内容引导学生初步理解课文内容。2.T:Do you know what months they are talking about? Please read by yourselves and find the names of the months3)Listen to the tape again and repeat.3. Practice (15 )1)Ask and answer. Presentation (20 )1)教师提问学生的生日:Whose birthday is in January / February? 让生日在12月的学生到前边逐个介绍自己的生日,例如:Hi! Im xxMy birthday is in January让下面的学生注意听,尽力记住每个人的生日月份(不能用笔记录)。然后学生按任意顺序站成一排,让下面的学生凭记忆说出他们的生日。从第一个开始,教师说This is . Start! 学生开始抢答,答对者得一分。看看谁的瞬间记忆好。2)把数量相等的12月的英语单词分别写在纸条上,然后学生抽签得到自己的月份,按照月份分成小组,以月份名称为组名,如January Group;各小组讨论在自己的月份里有哪些节日,学校有哪些活动,周围的人会进行哪些活动。用英语记下来,不会的可以用图画表示。最后向全班介绍展示讨论结果。3)Just write.3. April is the fourth month of the year.3)借助图片做对话:What are they doing?引导学生运用所给出的短语进行回答。4)仿照Lets talk 做交流。5)Lets chant.3. Practice (17 )1)教师请学生分成小组完成学生用书第50页的制作讨论活动。用硬纸板制作小相册,把小组各个成员的照片按照时间分类贴在相册上,然后使用气泡中提示的语言进行讨论交流。鼓励学生联想复习以前学过的表达方式并运用到交流中来。例如:Who is this? Where is he / she? Do you like . ?2)小组成员围成一圈坐着,把照片收集在一起,打乱顺序反扣在桌子上,像玩扑克牌一样每人摸起一张,不要让下家看到照片内容。每个人让下家猜:Who is this? Which month is it? What is he / she doing? 如果下家全部猜对,就赢得这张“牌”。依次进行,玩完一圈后接着重新摸“牌”,继续游戏。3)学生分组谈论自己的日历卡片,教师号召学生多使用学过的英语语言。4. Reading and drawing.TPR.五、学法: Listening and reading.六、教学准备:录音磁带。教 学 过 程1热身 / 复习 (Warming-up / Revision)1)播放歌曲Months of the Year,教师与学生一起欣赏,暂时不要求学生跟唱。2)教师随便抽取学生卡片中的三张贴到黑板上,做猜卡片游戏。首先请一名学生悄悄地选中三张图中的一张,告诉教师。然后同学们通过提问猜出他选中的那张图。猜中者发放小红花奖励。2新课导入 (Presentation)1)教师赞扬学生的卡片做得好,然后展示自己的几张卡片(56月),为大家一一介绍,引导学习本课的单词和句子。2)教师请学生试着说出他们所知道的有关56月的相关信息,如节日等,引导学生探究学习,说对者教师及时给予鼓励。3)展示教学挂图,播放录音,教师随着录音内容指示挂图中的内容。教师提问:Do you know what months they are talking about? Please listen again and find the names of the months4)首先让学生听听5月用英语怎么说。利用暂停健,反复播放第一段,直到有学生说出May, 教师奖给该学生贴纸,并板书May让大家一起认读。继续播放录音让学生依次回答问题:In May, there is a holidayDo you know what holiday is in May? Yes, its Labour DayIts warm in MayWhat are the people in the picture doing?Yes, they are singing and dancing5)再从头放录音,让学生看挂图跟读。6)用同样的方法学习后面的一段话。借助图片、简笔画和手势动作帮助学生理解文中生词的意思,必要的地方可以用汉语适当解释。7)理解后,让学生再完整地听一边录音,这一次要求学生跟读,模仿语音语调。3趣味操练 (Practice)1)教师征求学生意见,愿不愿意在模仿录音的基础上,创造性地谈论本课图片,学生先在组内谈论,然后班内交流,教师和学生共同评价。参考问题:Which is the fifth month of the year?What holiday is in May? What are people doing in May?Which is the sixth month of the year?What holiday is in June? What are children doing in June?2)日历游戏:学生4人一组,玩猜月份游戏。每组发放16月日历卡片,卡片正面写着月份的英文。把卡片反扣在课桌上,让学生依次猜是哪个月份,每个学生一次只能猜一张。先说一个月份的英语单词,再翻开一张卡片,猜对的可以赢得卡片,看谁赢得多。此游戏可以反复进行。3)教师请同学们分成小组,说说自己喜爱的月份和节日,挑出相关图片,用自己的语言进行描述。4)四个学生根据课本内容和自由讨论的内容,分别到前面表演56月份的活动,每人表演一种动作,让下面的学生猜表演的动作是哪一个月的:Is it in June? Are you singing and dancing? . 4. Just try! 让学生自由说月份名称。这对学生是一个挑战,也是检测学生注意力是否集中的一个好办法。5)教师准备放录音:Dont worryLets listen to the tapeListen carefully and try to remember the names of the months6)播放两边录音,学生仔细听,可以跟读重复。7)再次检测学生的记忆情况:Close your eyes again and say the names after meWhat is the sixth month of the year? 学生回答June,依次类推。可以反复多次练习。8)学生两人一组,按照上面的方式进行问答练习。9)教师板书四会单词,让学生观察模仿。3. Practice (20 )1)绘画讨论:组织学生分组完成课本第52页的活动。可以分成May Group, June Group等。小组讨论自己月份的常见活动,然后用图画表现出来。最后小组成员一起编对话,展示给大家。例如:I like JuneJune is the sixth month of the yearLook!
