2019-2020年高中英语 Unit4 Earthquake教案 新人教版必修1一 Learning Aims:(学习目标)1.Learn how to keep safe when an earthquake happened.2.To improve the students reading skills.3 Create a feeling of prides of being Chinese.二 Learning Important and Difficult Point:(学习重难点)Through fast reading and careful reading to improve reading abilities.三、教学步骤:步骤一 Leading in (5 分钟)在音乐声中教师展示几幅自然灾难的图片,让学生感受大自然的力量。通过一个小谜语来引出唐山大地震的阅读内容。Who am I ?Im from nature;Im easy to be angry;I love people but they hate me;I love shaking and traveling , Last year in Haiti.设计意图:通过几幅图片的展示,引起学生兴趣从而为下一步的阅读扫清了部分障碍。步骤二 watching and listening 看对1976年的唐山大地震的介绍的短片视频 ,回答一下三个问题What is the passage mainly tell us about? When did the earthquake happen?. How many people died or injured in this disaster?步骤三 Fast reading 布置学生快速阅读文章,在阅读段落的时候,让学生划出每个段落中的主题句,这样能够加速学生对整段的理解。结合主题句,把文章分成三部分并讨论的出段落大意Part 1( 1 ) What happened during the quake and the damage caused by the quake.Part 2( 2-3 ) The rescue work after the earthquake.Part 3( 4 ) Signs before the earthquake.设计意图:快速阅读让他们找出每个段落的主题句,并根据这些主题句总结出文章的大意。步骤四 careful reading Task 1: Read Para1 and find out what strange things happened?Task 2: Read part 2 carefully and do the true or false questions.Task3 Why does the writer say all hope was not lost?设计意图:这部分通过一些活动的设置使学生在完成任务的过程当中运用关键词阅读策略来体会阅读的过程,并通过小组活动来检验学生阅读过程是否进展得顺利。用阅读来查找信息是一种非常重要的学习策略,可以根据文章的实际指导学生经常使用Task 4 呈现一些现在唐山美丽城市的画面。让学生感受到地震无情,人有情。祖国是我们的坚强后盾。.步骤五 Post reading 讨论 Suppose the earth begins to shake what will you do to protect yourself? 后 通过一个小游戏来检测学生对地震知识的掌握。 通过对本篇唐山地震文章的学习,使同学们更加珍惜时间, 珍惜生命,快乐生活.让我们大声朗读下面四句话。 Every day, every hour, every moment, every minute is precious.
