It is used to indicate an action that took place in the past or not long ago but the “influence” still exists. For example, “Ive dropped my pen on the ground.” You can see the pen on the floor now; “Ive opened the door.” Now the door is open.Ask the students to write some sentences down on the blackboard, using the Present Perfect Tense.
