2019-2020年九年级英语上册 Module 2 Unit 2 Its still read and loved导学案 外研版课型 :读写课一、学习目标知识目标:1. 掌握13个词汇(behavior, cave, freedom, funeral, social, theme, treasure, clever, dead, pleased, alive, southern, state)和3个词组(run away, grow up, talk about), 理解1个词汇和1个词组(outsider, for a time)。2理解一般现在时的被动语态,在大量的语言输入中感知一般现在时的被动语态be + done (by )的构成。3通过词汇、句式的学习进一步熟悉名著推介的话题。技能目标:1. 听:能够听懂关于汤姆索亚历险记名著推介的文章,能将段落大意与段落进行匹配。2. 说:能够预测文章内容,能够基本运用一般现在时的被动语态简单介绍最喜爱的书目。3读:能够读懂介绍名著的文章,能找出段落的主旨句,理解文章段落大意和文章结构。通过阅读能够提取、归纳信息。4写:能够模仿课文结构和句式,描述最喜欢的一本书。教学过程(一)课前导入: Activity 1 的1、2题是对Unit 1的复习,先解决这两道题,这样即可以达到对上一单元对话内容的回顾,也由此引出The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.将书名呈现在黑板上,学生上节课的作业中有一个预习作业是查找马克吐温的主要作品,这里将学生们的作业做一个反馈,学生交流他们查找的结果。然后引导学生判断这部小说的类别, “What kind of novel is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer?”答案是 “Adventure story.”这一部分可根据学生的实际情况增加书的类别介绍并给出例子,如:love story: Romeo and Juliet, tragedy: King Lear, edy: Merchant of Venice,histories: Henry VIII 等等。二、读前听听录音将5个自然段与每段的段落大意相匹配。Paragraph 1 Theme of The Adventures of Tom SawyerParagraph 2 CharacterParagraph 3 Reason for its greatnessParagraph 4 Story Paragraph 5 Favourite scene 通过听力达到对文章整体框架的理解。三、文章学习1、阅读前(Pre-reading)可以借助图片来帮助学生们去预测,可以问 “What can you see in the picture? Can you guess what is happening?”并回答Activity 1中的3、4题, 这样做的目的是借助图片这种非语言信息进行理解和表达,也使学生的思维活跃起来。2、阅读中(While-reading):这是课文教学的重要部分,采取总分总的方法,先整体感知,再捕捉细节信息,分析课文,最后整体归纳的方法。总:默读,再次感知课文默读,欣赏文章:为了很好地感受、体验进而能够欣赏文章,实现技能目标中“读”的第一个目标:通过阅读学会欣赏文章,我们采用默读的方式让学生浏览文章,并回答Activity 4 中的第四题,“Which of the scenes in the article do you like best?”鼓励学生自己的见解,时间控制在2-3分钟之内。分:分析课文,捕捉细节信息1)朗读课文,完成问题:这里学生带着Activity4中的前三个问题 “What kind of boy is Tom?” “Why do you think Tom wants to go to his own funeral?” “Why do you think people still read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer?”大声朗读,阅读后回答问题并核对答案,允许不同答案的存在,如第2、3小题,这样做是为了实现对文章细节的把握,捕捉文章的具体信息。2)分析并复述课文。在此将Activity 3 的表格融入课文处理中,通过个别学生示范朗读,学生自己朗读和齐读等不同的阅读方式进行精读。找出每一段用来复述的“key words”,提示学生根据这些“key words”复述课文,达到信息输出的目的,加深对课文的理解,明确文章的线索为写作做好准备。The Adventures of Tom SawyerMark TwainParagraph 1 Q:Where does Tom live? The name of the story is Rip Van Winkle, and it is also the name of the hero in this story. There are three characters in this story, Rip Van Winkle and his wife, Dame Van Winkle and their dog, Woof. Dame Van Winkle is a sharp-tongued (说话尖酸的、刻薄的) woman. Both Rip Van Winkle and the dog are terrified of her, even of her voice. There is a scene that can describe how Rip Van Winkle and his dog feel in front of Dame Van Winkle: Rip had just one way of replying to his wifes talk: he only put his head back on his shoulders, looked up toward heaven, and said nothing True, in the woods, Woof was as brave as an honorable dog should be; but as soon as Woof entered the house, his head bent low, his tail lay on the ground or curled between his legs. He went around the house with a guilty look, watching Dame Van Winkle out of the corner of his eye, ready to run from the room at the slightest sign of her displeasure. This was the time when England ruled America. One day, Rip Van Winkle went into the mountain with his dog for an escape of his wife. He drank something given by some strangers and fell asleep. That was 20 years! His wife died and America got freedom from England, and I think thats what the story wants to tell us: both the poor mans independence and nations independence. Why Irvings story attract people? Because he wrote so vividly(生动). That sets me thinking: How he observed things so carefully?
