Warm up by getting to know about cartoon. Hello, class. Look at the picture. What is that? Right. It is a cartoon. What is a cartoon then?Listen and read. On page 72 in the box is a conversation among Lingling, Daming, Mr. Jackson and Betty. They are talking about cartoons. Before we listen to it, lets go on to read it first. While reading, try to: cut/ the sentence into thought groups, study the predicative, darken the connectives and underline all the useful expressions. Well it is a clownfish from a movie called Finding Nemo who gets lost in the ocean around Australia. His father, Marlin, and Marlins new friend, Dory are looking for him. Nemo is eventually found.To know more about cartoon movie lets go to page 74 to study the text entitled Cartoon heroes.Read the passage. On page 74 is an article cartoon heroes. Now start reading it. While reading, try to: cut/ the sentence into thought groups, study the predicative, darken the connectives and underline all the useful expressions.
