Lesson 6 In the living room教学内容:Lesson 6. In the living room教学目标:德育目标:He stays with Jennys family and experiences Canadian schooling , food and culture .He also teaches Jennys family about Chinese culture . 智育目标:激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动学习积极性,引导学生积极与他人合作,在活动中培养学生的协作能力和竞争意识。素质发展目标:Key Concepts: Review vocabulary and skills from Level 4.couch, What are they doing?教学重点:掌握本课四会单词和句型教学难点:能灵活应用所学知识进行交际。教具准备:课件、 张贴画 、录音机、挂图等。学生活动设计:小组学习(两人一组、多人一组)、师生互动游戏等。教学过程:Class Opening and Review Greeting. Review: Review the locations and the structure “Lets go to the _ to _ . Key concepts: 1. Use the student book and audiotape. 2. Practice: Play “living picture” with Number 2 to reinforce the vocabulary in this lesson. First, ask for volunteers to make a living room. The volunteers place objects at the front of the class. Have some other objects ready. Use a row of chairs for a couch, use a box for a TV. Who wants to play Jenny? There are flowers on the table. There are books on top of the TV. Play a variation of “travel”, post the poster for rooms in different parts of the classroom. Or just post words for each room. Ask the students to line up in front of each room. When a student answers a question correctly, he or she can travel to the next room. 3. Use the activity book. This is a living room. Now you are sitting on a chair and watching TV. Your father is reading newspaper under the lamp. Your mother is writing a letter on the table. 4. Check for understanding. Class closing.
