learn to express their own ideas and how to write a letter successfully.In the first period,students will be encouraged to express their own ideas by individual or group work.Whats more,they will do some listening practice to improve their listening ability.In the second period,students will read a passage about teamwork.They will understand the importance of teamwork and how a sportsteam can function well by reading the passage.Besides,they will learn some useful words and expressions.In the third period,students will review the useful words and expressions learnt in the second period and learn how to fill in the blanks with correct words.In the fourth period,students will read a passage named“Key to success”.After reading it,they will realize the importance of understanding who they “first ambitions”.Jackie Collins:To be a writerfrom when I was 10 or 11.But everything was against meI was expelled from school at 15;nobody in my family had written;everybody told me I had to go to college to be a writer and my teachers told me I couldnt do it,but Ive proved them all wrong.Gloria Estefan:To be a psychologist.But by graduate school I had already been in a band a couple of years and singing had always been my first love so I chose that.But my psychology degree helps me a lot in my career.I constantly auto-analyse myself.Lady Parkinson:My mother was an outstanding concert pianist.She was playing in public at the age of 12.I developed quite an ambition be to a painist,but when you live with someone who is extremely talented,you soon learn how untalented you are.Max Clifford:To win the boxing championship at school.I won,but I didnt box any more after that because I didnt enjoy being hit back.Ive never had any ambitions except sporting ones.Rosemary Alexander:As a child I saw the film The Red Shoes and thought it would be wonderful to be a ballet dancer.Unfortunately,by the time I decided I was 14 and rather fat.Cherie Lunghi:To be a ballet dancer.I went to see Margot Fonteyn and waited out-side the stage door afterwards.She shook my hand and I was thrilled.I started dancing when I was five or six and kept on with it until I switched to drama at 12 or
