2019-2020年高一英语 Unit 3说课稿 新人教版Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Im so honored to present my lesson plan here The lesson plan Ill talk about is from SEFC B1A Unit3”Adventure Travel” Im going to display how to teach and why to teach so in the following 5 aspects: understanding of the teaching material, the theoretical basis, teaching methods and studying ways, teaching procedure and blackboard work I understanding of the teaching materialId like to analyze the material at first. The text is a reading course and its topic is about adventure travel. .Its a sort of exposition. So what I should do is to make students familiar with this kind of reading material. . As far as Im concerned, Ill lay most emphasis on how to help my Ss learn to find exact information as quick as possible. Whats more, I will activate their interests in loving nature and getting close to nature through the vivid introduction of adventure travel. At the same time, I would introduce some scientific ways of escaping from dangers during adventure travel. . Now, lets e to knowledge objectives and ability objectives. Ss should have a full understanding of the text with some specific information and useful expressions. The main ability objectives are to develop Ss ability of getting the general idea and specific details in an effective way through reading skills including scanning, skimming. II the theoretical basis In view of Zhang Jianzhong, English is a system to express meanings, which must be created from the context. Consequently, we should be good at creating English environment Thats to say, English is supposed to be taught in specific situations in order to arouse Ss interest, activate their old knowledge and improve reading speed and prehension. In a sense, the theory is in line with the schema theory. III teaching methods and studying ways Generally speaking, I employ the principle that the teacher is a leading role while students are learning masters. Accordingly I use municative, discussion and game playing approaches to urge each student to participate actively in learning English. As for students, they will learn through independent reading and group work under my drilling Ill use multimedia and blackboard as my teaching aids IV teaching procedures Here lets focus on a most crucial part, teaching procedures can be devided into 6 parts: lead-in, fast reading, intensive reading, consolidation, discussion and game playing and homework Step I: lead-in As we know, most students like traveling, so I ask Ss the purposes of traveling. Ss are familiar with this topic, so its easy for me to liven up the class and draw Ss attention at the beginning of class. Ill create appropriate situations to elicit these purposes mentioned in the first paragraph And then I will tell a story of my university teacher who experienced adventure travel to Tibet. Naturally I will manage to steer my Ss to the topic “Adventure Travel” Additionally, I demonstrate the definition of adventure travel through the story. There are mainly three reasons for designing so in this part. Firstly, Id like to create the English environment as pleasant as I can. Secondly, I can activate their knowledge background and make a preparation for learning the text. Last but not least, I can motivate their desire in knowing more information about adventure travel.Step II: Fast Reading Then Ill slide to fast reading with two questions. ”How many examples of adventure travel are mentioned in the text? What are they? ”Why do you think they belong to adventure travel?” Before reading I ask Ss to pay attention to the structure of the text and analyze it with the main idea of each part. As a result, it can help Ss to get the general idea of the text and cultivate their reading skills. With these tasks, my Ss will be eager to read through the text more purposefully. After finishing these tasks, I will check whether Ss get the main idea of the text with exercise1 on P18. Through this step, I make Ss get the general idea of the text and weep out the difficulties for my Ss further understanding of the text StepIII : Intensive reading Lets pay attention to the intensive reading. To achieve my teaching objectives, I would explain the text in two parts separately. They are the first two paragraphs and the last paragraph a) First lets e to hiking part. Before reading this part I show Ss a picture of hiking with these questions: 1.What are they doing? 2.Where are they? 3.Besides in the mountain, where can we hike ? 4.Is it hard or easy to hike? Whats more, Ill present new words through the picture, which can facilitate learning new words and deepen impression on new words. After weeping out the barrier of new words, I ask Ss to read this part to find out what dangers we may meet and how to solve these problems. To deepen students understanding of the safety tips, I wont ask Ss to give me the safety tips direct, but I give situations and ask Ss to give me accordingly ways to solve the problem, which can develop their ability to solve problems by themselves and deepen impression on the material.b) b) I would like to slide the second part with a picture of rafting. As with hiking part, I ask Ss questions and learn new words through the picture. The questions are: 1. What are they doing? 2. What is a raft? Please explain it in English.3.Whats the color of water? Why? With questions I lay a foundation for further information. After Ss read this part, I ask Ss a series of questions: How many kinds of rafting? What are they? Why do we call it whitewater rafting? What are the differences between normal rafting and whitewater rafting? What skills do we need if we go rafting? With these questions, Ss can master the necessary information easily and clearly.c)Step IV: ConsolidationTo consolidate the knowledge that Ss learn, I ask Ss to fill in the table about the information of hiking and rafting on P18 together. To urge Ss to think about the differences between hiking and rafting, I ask them a question: What kind of adventure travel do you prefer, hiking or rafting? Why? For another thing, to make a conclusion about the feature of adventure travel , I ask Ss the similarities of them.Step V Discussion and game playing 1. To advocate Ss to experience adventure travel and pay attention to safety, I ask Ss to play a game to hold a family meeting, in which they choose one kind of adventure travel shown through multimedia and win their parents support. To make sure every student know how to hold a family meeting .I show my demand in Chinese on the screen. After asking two groups to present their fruit, I make a short speech to tell Ss about my opinion of adventure travel.Step6 Homeworkd) Step VI: Homework 1. Ask Ss to retell the text after class and finish . the reading part on P100.e)VI Blackboard work On the left hand of the blackboard is the main idea of the two parts with supporting details. On the right hand of the blackboard are the useful expressions and difficult grammatical points.
