Unit 1 How can I get there?一、教学内容 1.本单元规定会听,说,认读的单词:Science, museum, post office, bookstore,cinema, hospital, crossing, turn, left,straight, right. 2.本单元规定会听,说认读的句型:Where is the.? Its near/next to/behind.? How can we get there? Turn left/right. Then .3.可以掌握朗读句子时的升降调。二、教学规定1. 知识与能力目的 1) 可以听、说、认读句型:Where is the.? Its near/next to/behind. How can we get there? Turn left/right. Then .2) 可以在情景中运用句型Where is the.? Its near/next to/behind.询问回答位置。并表述行走路线。3)可以掌握朗读句子时的升降调4)可以听、说、认读单词:Science, museum, post office, bookstore,cinema, hospital, crossing, turn, left,straight, right. 5) 运用上述描述体现路线。 2.情感态度、文化意识、学习方略目的学习礼貌言行,懂得遵守交通规则。 三、教学重点和难点重点:1.听懂、会说本单元的对话,并能对路线进行描述。 2.听、说、认读本单元单词。 3.可以掌握朗读句子时的升降调。 难点:难点单词的对的发音四、教学时间本单元共6学时,每周3学时,2周完毕。第一学时教学内容A Lets try Lets talk Lets wrap it up教学目的1.协助学生理解对话,并学会运用句型“Where is the .? ”问路。2.协助学生学会运用词组“near, next to, behind”等表述方位。达到简朴的交际。教学重难点重点:1.句型:Where is the .? Its near/next to/behind . 2.运用句型问路,表述方位。难点:运用句型问路,表述方位。教学过程1.Warm-up (热身及预习展示)师生自由问答:T: Hello, nice to meet you!Ss: Nice to meet you!T: Whats the weather like today?Ss: Its sunny!T:Good!Whats this in English?Ss:A bookT:Yes,Its my bookWhere can we buy the book?Ss: The bookstore. 2.Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)(1)教师在黑板上画一座房子和一种机器人,指着机器人说:Whos that? 学生回答:Its Robin. 再指着房子说:Where can we find Robin? 学生回答:In the museum. 教师出示感慨句:What a great museum! (2)教师出示一张明信片,说:Its a post cardRobin want to sent a post cardWhere should he go?” 引出单词post office.(3)教师出示一张地图,问学生:“Where is the post office?”出示单词:next to, near, behind.教师运用三个例句结合图片理解next to, near, behind. (4)在学生理解三个方位介词后,小组活动,运用方位介词描述途中各个场馆的位置。(5)Lets try教师让学生阅读听力题目,然后听录音独立完毕内容。(6)教师出示对话内容,请学生听录音,然后朗读对话。(7)学生进行操练,先同桌互练,再在全班表演3.Consolidation and extension(拓展延伸)(1)教师出示兰州市的地图,请学生根据地图来描述位置。(2)Lets wrap it up根据学生的描述,请学生说一说我们都学过那些方位介词。教师协助学生总结。然后以小组为单位造句。4.Summary(总结)板书设计 Unit 1 How can I get there?Where is the .?Its next to/near/behind . 第二学时教学内容A Lets learn Make a map and talk教学目的1.可以听、说、读、写单词:science museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital.2.能用句子“Where is the cinema? Its next to the bookstore. ”来替代有关询问和回答位置的体现。教学重难点本学时的教学重点和难点是掌握四会短语和A Lets learn部分中运用方位介词表述位置。教学准备1.教师准备本学时的录音。2.单词卡片。教学过程1.Warm-up (热身及预习展示) 学生复习对话,教师请学生两人一组表演朗读对话。2.Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)(1)教师出示Robin, 并说:Robin is a robot. Where can we find Robin? 引导学生说出单词 science museum. (2)教师出示地图,并说:Robin wants to sent a post card, its near the museum. Where is it? 引出单词post office. (3)教师根据地图继续引导学生:Robin wants to buy some books, the place is next to the post office. Can you find where Robin want to go?(4)以同样的措施教单词cinema和hospital(5)教师领读单词,学生小组内读单词,互相纠正发音。(6)教师运用地图,请学生描述每个地方的位置。(7)学生进行操练,先同桌互练,再在全班表演3.Consolidation and extension(拓展延伸)请学生拿出事先画好的地图两人或四人为一组,以一问一答的形式描述地图上的位置。教师请个别小组展示对话。4.Sum-up(总结)板书设计 Unit 1 How can I get there ? T: I like pizza best. Where can I buy the pizza? Yes, its restaurant. Its Italian restaurant. 教师领读单词: pizza, Italian restaurant2.Presentation and practice(精讲点拨) Lets talk(1)教师出示地图,说:“Now, I want to have some pizza, I want to go to the Italian restaurant. How can I get there?”。让学生先画出路线,然后教师引导学生表述路线: Turn left at the . .Then turn right at the . 再请同窗来说说她们的路线。(2)朗读课文对话,分角色完毕对话。或小组内朗读表演对话。3.Consolidation and extension(拓展延伸)(1)教师课件出示兰州市或安宁区的地图,请学生小组内完毕对话。How can I get to the .? Turn . at the . Then turn . at the. (2)教师用单词卡片在黑板上拼一种地图, 先让学生自己说一说路线, 然后请一种学生通过抽卡选出她的出发地和目的地,并进行描述,在她描述的同步。请其她同窗通过描述画出路线。板书设计 Unit 1 How can I get there ?How can I get to the .? Lets learn Be a tour guide教学目的1. 能听、说、读、写单词和词组:crossing,turn left,go straight, turn right. 2.能听、说、认读单词:Italian,restaurant. 3.能听、说、认读句子:Where is the Italian restaurant? Turn right here? No, turn left.并能实际情景中对的使用。教学重难点1.重点:能听、说、读、写单词和词组:crossing,turn left,go straight, turn right.2.难点:go straight的发音和拼写。教学准备1.配套的教学课件。2.图片和单词卡。3.录音机和磁带。教学过程热身(Warm-up )1.师生问候。2.Sing the song:Where is the hospital?复习(Revision)1. 游戏:Whats missing?活动方式:全班先抽读单词卡:science museum,post office,bookstore,cinema,hospital.然后教师藏起其中的一张单词卡,问学生:Whats missing?为最快说出答案的学生所在的组加分。2. 游戏:句子接龙活动方式:教师先说出一种公共场合的名称,接着让一种学生在反复教师所说场合名称的基本上再加上一种场合的名称。依此类推,如果说不出新的场合,或场合的顺序有误的话则被判出局。如:T:I can see a hospitall.S1: I can see a hospitall and a post office.S2: I can see a hospitall, a post office and a cinema.新课呈现(Presentation)1. 教学词组:turn left, turn right (1)学生排成一列纵队,背面学生手搭在前面学生的肩上,教师放“兔子舞”音乐,和学生一起跳“兔子舞”。跳的时候教师要注意示范left和right,如左右脚、左右手的动作。 (2)跳完后教师再一次举起左右手和左右脚并反复单词left和right,板书:left和right,带读left和right。 (3)活动:听听做做 活动方式:教师发指令:Show me your right (left) hand /leg/ear/foot.全班学生根据指令做动作,边做边说:My right (left) hand /leg/ear/foot.然后改由一种学生发指令,其她学生边说边做动作。 (4)出示左转的图片说:turnleft,补充板书成:turnleft,让学生与教师一起边做左转的手势边说turnleft.同环节教学turn right. (5)活动:队列训练 活动方式:每组请上两位学生在讲台上一字排开,教师发指令:turn right (left).则学生边右转、左转边反复:turn right (left)说错或转错方向则被判出局,留下的学生为胜者。接着可以改由学生发指令继续活动。2. 教学词组:go straight(1)教师在黑板上划一条直线,指着直线说:This line is straight.板书:straight,带读straight。然后采用“大小声”的游戏操练单词。 (2)教师出示“直走”图标说:go straight.补充板书成:go straight,带读go straight. 3.教学单词:crossing 出示十字路口的图片说:This is a crossing.板书:crossing,带读crossing。然后再用:“高下音” 的游戏操练单词crossing。 5.教学B. Lets learn(1)教师出示教学挂图,播放课文录音,全班静听,理解课文。(2)板书:Italian restaurant,告诉学生词组的意思并带读。(3)学生打开书,教师播放B. Lets learn的录音,学生逐句跟读。巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)1.教学Be a tour guide(1)教师将课本上的地图贴在黑板上,对学生简介说:Chen Jie is trying to be a tour guide for Oliver in Beijing.Can you help her ?For example,now we are in front of Tiananmen.Go straight and you can see the Palace Musuem.(2)学生两人一组进行活动。家庭作业(Homework)1.听录音,跟读对话和单词。2.完毕相应的配套练习。3.用英语为家长做导游。第五学时教学内容B.Read and write Tips for pronunciation教学目的1.能听、说、读、写单词:GPS,gave,feature,far,tell.2.能听懂、会说句子:Were in front of the cinema. Is it far? Now we are behind the hospital. My new GPS works!Ill tell Grandpa.3.能对的使用升降调读句子。教学重点1.重点:能听懂、会说句子:Were in front of the cinema. Isitfar? Now we are behind the hospital. My new GPS works! Ill tell Grandpa.2.难点:能对的使用升降调读句子。教学准备1.单词卡片。2.录音机和磁带。3.课文挂图和配套的VCD.教学过程一、热身(Warm-up)1.师生问候。2.Lets do:Go to the bookstore.Buy some books.Go to the post office.Send a letter.Go to the hospital.See a doctor.Go to the cinema.See a film.Go to the museum.See some robots.二、复习(Revision)1.全班抽读单词和词组:science, museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital, crossing, turn, left, straight, right.并选择某些单词让学生拼读。2.手绘地图活动方式:学生四人一组,手绘一张学校附近区域的地图,运用这张地图小组内展开问路和指路的对话,最后抽取某些到台前展示地图表演对话.如:S1:Lets see a film.OK?Ss:OK!S2:Where is the cinema?S3:Its near No.1 Hospital on Shanghai Street.S1:How can we go to the cinema ?S4:Turn left at the crossing. Then go straight. Turn right at the bookstore. Ss:OK. Lets go.三、新课呈现(Presentation)1.教学:map,compass,GPS,stars.教师出示map,compass,GPS,stars.的事物或图片,引导学生学说这些单词,然后启发学生思考:她们有何共同的功用?(它们都能用来指路)继续启发她们思考:Youare in the car.Which of these can help you find a place? ( GPS) Wu Yifangrandpa gave Robin a new feature.Robin has GPS.What happened? Lets watch the video.2.教学B.Read and write(1)教师播放教学视频,学生看视频理解课文内容。(2)理解并带读如下句子:Were in front of the cinema.Is it far?Now we are behind the hospital.My new GPS woeks!Ill tell Grandpa.(3)教师再次播放视频,每句后暂停,全班跟读。(4)Answer the questions.a.What is Robins new feature?b.How many places did they pass by?(Underline them in the text)c.Which word under the fourth picture means(奏效,起作用)?全班学生先在各自的课本上作答,然后全班讲平校对。3. 教学Tips for pronunciation教师播放录音,学生边听边跟读,提示学生注意课本标注的升降调变化。四、巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)活动:家访线路图及阐明活动方式:教师准备到每位学生家中家访,规定学生画出从学校到家的示意图,并附上文字阐明,以便教师的家访。如:My home is on Beijing Street. Turn left(right).Turn left(right) at.2能借助图片读懂story time的故事。教学重难点1重点:复习本单元的单词和句子。2难点:能借助图片读懂story time的故事。教学准备1单词卡片。2story time的VCD或视频。3录音机和磁带。教学过程一、热身(Warm-up)Sing the song:Where is the hospital?二、复习(Revision) 1复习三会单词:ask,sir,interesting,Italian,restaurant,pizza, street,get,GPS,gave,feature,follow,far,tell。活动方式:先抽读单词卡片,然后让学生看图说单词。2复习四会单词:science,museum,post office,bookstore, cinema,hospital,crossing,turn,left,straight,right.(1)教师出示图片,学生抢答说单词,抢答到的学生还要拼读出单词。(2) 全班齐读单词。 三、新课呈现(Presentation)1.教学B. Lets check(1)先让学生观测图中有哪些场合。(2)教师播放录音,学生勾出所听场合,并写出所听场合。(3)全班讲评订正。2. 教学C. story time(1)教师指着插图,先做背景简介:T:Zoom and Zip are in London now. What happened? Lets see.(2)阅读故事,理解故事大意。(3)播放视频,理解故事内容。教师播放故事的视频,让学生通过视频理解故事内容,最后让学生模仿故事中人物的语音、语调学说如下句子:Where can I buy one? Go that way.Is the Thames far from here?Finally!Oh, my stomach hurts!You still want to see!(4)模仿角色的语音、语调学说故事。(5)鼓励学生分角色表演。四、巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)活动:我的“梦幻岛” 活动方式:学生展开想象,每人绘制一幅自己心目中的“梦幻岛”的图画,然后四人一组简介自己的“梦幻岛”,比一比谁的想象更大胆、更梦幻,最后请某些学生向全班展示,简介自己的作品。如:This is my island.There is a big nature park on the island.There are many trees and animals in it.A school is next to the nature park.Some students have class in the park.五、家庭作业(Homework)1.听录音,进一步理解故事内容。2.完毕相应的配套练习。3.用英文为家人或朋友指路。 板书设计Unit 1 How can I get there?
