Unit 2 My days of the week单元教学课时安排建议:六课时第一课时:Lets startLets chantA Lets learnLets playCLets sing第二课时:ALets tryLets talkGroup workCGoodtoknow第三课时:ARead and writePair workCPronunciation第四课时:BLets learnLets chantCStory time第五课时:BLets tryLets talkCLets check、第六课时:BRead and write Group workCTasktime各课时教学建议 第一课时一)教学要点 1教学目标 (1)能听、说、读、写单词:Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday和Friday。 (2)能听懂问句:What day is it today?What do we have on Mondays?并能做出正确回答。(3)能够运用新的语言进行LetS play的星期转盘游戏。(4)能够听懂、会唱歌曲“My days of the Week”。 2教学重点Monday,Tuesday,Wed nesday,Thursday和Friday五个单词听说读写以及能听懂会说句子:What day is it today?What do we have on Mondays? 3教学难点Tuesday和Thursday的读音;理解和使用各科目的名称来表述课程安排。理解汉语中“上课”这一动作的正确表述方法,We have。 (二)课前准备1教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、声音、课件,以及本课时的单词卡。 2.教师和学生分别准备做游戏用的标有星期的圆盘,以及单词卡。3教师准备相关媒体的播放设备,如录音机、投影仪、幻灯片等。4教师课前准备一张本班的作息时间表:(三)教学过程1WarmupRevision(热身复习)(1)教师播放Start部分的歌谣,LetS chant部分的歌谣“Monday,Monday,math on Monday”,学生感知星期一至星期五的表述。(2)教师播放四年级上册Recyclel中有关星期的歌谣,学生听录音有节奏地吟唱,并做出相应动作。(让学生温故知新,以减轻教与学的难度。)(3)LetS doT:Time for PE S:Jump and runT:Time for English S:Read and writeT:Time for music S:Sing and dance(在欢快、强劲的节奏中,培养学生的语言节奏感,为新课导入作铺垫。)(4)Free talk使用四年级下册第二单元中的句型:“Its 8 OclockItS time for Chinese”引出句型:We have Chinese,Englishon Mondays结合课程表,进行日常口语练习,内容可参考如下: A:HelloWhattime is it?B:Hello,ItS 8:20ItS time for English class2Presentation(呈现)(1)教师从上一环节引出单词“Monday”。(教师利用有关课程的日常对话,自然引出新词。)T:ItS time for EnglishDo you like Englishclass?S:YesI likeT:English classes are on MondayWednesday学生跟读,教师在黑板上书写该单词,并在书写时“M”用不同颜色加以区分。T:Do you like Mondays?S:YesNoT:Why?S:Because I likeBecause I dont like操练结束后,学生小组介绍Monday的课程。We haveon Mondays(2)学习新单词Tuesday。T:On Mondays,we have Chinese,math,English and musicOn one day,we have math,Chinese,computer and artWhat day is it?Is it Tuesday?S:Yes,it is学生跟读新词Tuesday。教师进行分解朗读,并强调该词中的e是不发音的。学生小组介绍Tuesday的课程。We haveon TuesdaysT:What day is it today?S:Its TuesdayT:What class do we have on Mondays?S:Let me seeWe haveon Tuesdays让学生按座次,依次说出Lets learn图片中的课程表,每人说一个。教师可给学生们起个头,说:“Its a time scheduleLets have a look”第一名学生说,“Its 8:25Its time for ChineseWe have Chinese on Tuesday”第二名学生说,“Its 9:15Its time for mathWe have math on Tuesday第三名学生说,“Its 10:05Its time for EnglishWe have English on Tuesday(3)教师接上一活动,引出单词Wednesday,并请学生大声地跟老师朗读该词教师在黑板上边书写边拼读该单词。教师要求学生能根据教师的口型和读音来判断“e,n”两个字母的读音。操练该单词。一组成员,每人拼写一个字母,最后一位同学组合成一个完整的单词,并朗读出该词。活动:教师说出三个单词的缩写形式,学生说出全称。T:MonTueWedS:MondayTuesdayWednesday 然后请一位学生做小老师,进行该活动的表演。最好每组一位同学。(4)从上面的活动中引出单词Thursday。T:THUS:?学生跟读单词Thursday。同时教师把该单词书写在黑板上,并请学生注意字母“u,r”在单词中读音。(5)Lets play:学生手持标有星期的圆盘,随意转动指针,根据指针停下的位置用句型“Whatday is it today?Its”进行交流,巩固所学新单词。还可加以询问和回答课程的句子,如What do we have on Monday?We have(6)接上一活动引出单词Friday。学生跟读单词Friday。同时教师把该单词书写在黑板上。教师引导学生总结这五个单词在拼读上的规律。(7)学生听录音,并跟读。3Practice Consolidation(操练巩固)(1)Free talkS1:What day is it today?S2:ItS MondayS1:What do we have on Mondays?S2:Let me seeWe have(2)教师利用操练课程之际,引出新词Moral Education and Social Studies,并让学生了解这两节课的意思。教师让学生制作自己喜爱的课程时间表。(3)Lets sing学生听录音或者看教学VCD,学唱歌曲“My Days ofthe Week”。 4播放拓展材料(根据教学需要选择拓展材料)Free talk教师可以给出几幅关于新授词的图画,让学生之间根据以下句型进描述。 如:What day is it today? I like Wednesdays.课后体会:第三课时(一)教学要点1教学目标(1)能听懂Read and write部分的对话,并在实际情景中运用。(2)能听说读写对话中的两组“四会”句子,并完成填充句子的练习。2教学重点本课时需要理解、认读的句型:What day is it today?Its WednesdayWhat do you have on Thursdays?We have English,math and science on Thursdays要求学生重点掌握其中两组“四会”句型的认读和书写,并完成填充句子的练习。3教学难点本课时的难点是Pronunciation,要求教师正确示范读音,引导学生最终能正确读出本课单词,并发现其发音规律。字母组合OW,OU的发音一定要到位,cl,cr的滑音变化要特别强调。绕口令的朗读。(二)课前准备1教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、声音、课件。2教师准备相关媒体的播放设备,如录音机、投影仪、幻灯片等。3准备课文对话的相关填空练习纸,题目如下:Mike:Whatis it today?Mom:ItsMike:HmmWe have Chinese,art and mathWednesdaysMom:Wait”Tomorrow isWhat do youhave on Thursdays?Mike:(三)教学过程1WarmupRevision(热身复习)(1)师生齐唱本单元C部分的歌曲“My days of the Week”,复习巩固有关星期的单词。(2) Free talk:主要句型:A:What day is it today?B:ItS ThursdayC:I like musicDo we have music today?D:Yes2Presentation(呈现)(1)教师呈现本课时教材图片,向学生提出问题说:“Its time to go to bedMike puts away his text booksBut he puts wrong books in his schoolbagWhy?”让学生带着问题快速读对话,然后请学生尝试解答这一问题,能用汉语表达出来原因即可。(2)教师提问,并请学生带着问题去阅读:What day is it today?What do they have on it?What day is it tomorrow?(3)学生完成课本上的三个问题。(4)Pair work and group work让学生在小组内进行有感情的朗读和表演对话。(5)听音配音。学生根据教师所发的填空练习纸,进行配音表演对话。(6)教师在黑板上书写“四会”句子,学生拼读背诵。(7)Pronunciation教师出示字母组合OW,同时教师由轻至重地朗读该字母组合的读音,然后教师试请学生朗读以下单词:how town now cow flower等。用同样的方法教学字母组合ou。(8)教师出示辅音字母组合cl cr,这两个字母组合发音较难,教师应多让学生听、模仿练习。(9)学生跟读绕口令,并根据实际情况进行小组比赛操练。3PracticeConsolidation(操练巩固)(1)小小记录员该活动就是让学生听一段对话、看一段录像,学生把与本课所学相关的内容整理出来,并能运用已学句型进行表达。(2) Free talk:主要句型:S1: What day is it today ?S2: Its .S1:What do you have on.?S2: We have .S1: What day is tomorrow?S2: Its .(3) 播放拓展材料(根据教学需要选择拓展材料)(4)Free talk : 主要句型: S1: What day is it today ?S2: Its .S1:What do you have on.?S2: We have .S1: What day is tomorrow?S2: Its . We have English,math and science on Thursdays.课后体会:第四课时(一)教学要点1教学目标:(1)能听瞳、会说本课时单词及词组:Saturday,Sunday,do homework,watch TV,read books。(2)能听懂、会说句型What do you do on Saturdays?Ioften do my homework并能在情景中运用。(3)能听懂chant,并按照节奏来吟唱。(4)理解Story time。2教学重点(1)本课时的教学重点是Lets learn部分的四会单词和短语:Saturday,Sunday,do homework,watch TV,read books。要求学生能结合所给句型和词语,在实际情景中熟练运用新单词和词组。3教学难点本课时的教学难点让学生结合所学句型进行关键词替换,并在实际情景中熟练运用。(二)课前准备1教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、声音、课件。2教师准备表演故事所需的手偶或头套。3教师和学生共同准备本课时所需的单词卡片。(三)教学过程1WarmupRevision(热身复习)(1)听音跟唱:教师播放本单元Lets sing部分的歌曲,复习关于星期的单词等内容,如:Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday;Thursday,Friday,Satur-day;Sunday,Sunday,Sunday;What a fun day!A fun day!让学生熟悉本课时要学歌曲的单词和音乐节奏,轻轻松松进入英语学习课堂。(2)LetS chant(P14)(3)Free talk: 主要句型;A:What do you have on Mondays?B:I have math on MondaysWhat do you haveon Tuesdays?C:I have art on TuesdaysWhat do you have onWednesdays?D:I have computers on Wednesdays .2Presentation(呈现) (1)教学readbooks。教师做动作,学生理解read books的意思。该单词较容易朗读,可边教学边请学生做动作。教师通过自由问答操练:T:What do you do on Mondays?Ss:I read books(2)教学Saturday。教师在上面的练习后问What do you have on Saturdays?学生回答:No教师说:Then,Whatd0 you do on Saturdays?Show me!让学生用动作来演示。导出单词Saturday。教师通过自编chant让学生拼读单词Saturday。ur,urSatu一卜day Saturday,Saturdayur,urSaturday I like Saturday(通过自编chant可以教学生动,也可使学生在进行单词学习时不枯燥乏味。)师生问答:T:What d0 you do 0n Saturdays?S:Ilike(3)教学watch TV。通过上面的活动自然地导人watch TV,并出示该词汇的卡片。(4)教学Sunday和Lets chant。教师通过采访活动来导人Sunday。Whatdo you do 0n Saturdays?当学生在回答较好时,教师可进行评价:Saturday is fun for you!教师可自然导人Sunday一词。进行朗读教学后,教师说:Sunday is sweet for me同时教师引出chant进行教学。Lets chant,通过以上渗透基本可使学生理解含义。操练词组:Tv,watch TvBooks,books,read booksMusic,music,listen to musicSports,sports,do sports(5)教学do homework。教师通过自制的课程表问学生:What day is it tomorrow?导出Its Saturday:Dont forget yourhomework进行do homework的教学。(6)教学Story time ,听录音朗读故事,理解故事含义。教师要注意在故事中有意识地引导学生复习本单元内容,为以后学习更多的英语知识做铺垫。同时注意培养学生认真做事的良好习惯。3PracticeConsolidation(操练巩固)(1)活动1:I spy过程:课件上出现一周七天的单词,然后在学生眼前一闪而过,要求学生注意看,然后说出这个单词,并一起朗读,看谁反应快。(2 )Free talk: 主要句型:S1: What day is it today ?S2: Its .S1:What do you have on.?S2: We have .S1:What do you do on Saturday /Sunday?S2: I often .(3) 播放拓展材料1.根据教学需要选择拓展材料 2.播放Story的内容Free talk:主要句型:S1: What day is it today ?S2: Its .S1:What do you usuallydo on Saturday /Sunday?S2: I often .S1: Whats your favourite day?S2: My favourite day is .5Addactivities(课外活动)要求学生通过网络去查找母亲节、父亲节及感恩节的来历以及在这些节日我们通常会做些什么事。板书设计: What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays? do homework I often watch TV read books 课后体会:第五课时(一)教学要点1教学目标(1)能听会说:What do you do on Saturdays?I often do mv homework并能运用。(2)能够完成Lets check。2教学重点本课时需要重点掌握句型:What do you do on SaturdaysSundays?I often do homeworkread books and watch TV要求学生能在真实情景中运用。3教学难点本课时的难点是正确运用新学的词组和句型谈论学习和生活实际。另外,Lets try部分内容较多且易混淆,教师要注意引导学生仔细看图,细听录音,独立完成听音圈图的练习,为对话的教学进行铺垫。(二)课前准备1教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、声音、课件,以及本课时的八张单词卡。2教师准备相关媒体的播放设备,如录音机、投影仪、幻灯片等。3教师和学生共同准备纸张和画笔,制作一本有关一周活动的活页书。4教师准备以下两张表格若干张:表一:(三)教学过程1WarmupRevision(热身复习)(1)汇报周末活动学生要把课后搜集到的周末活动进行整理,使用句型:“What do you do on weekends?I”在班级内汇报,说出自己最喜欢的周末活动。(周末汇报可使学生能很快地复习旧知,为新知识的学习打下基础,也能活动课堂气氛。)(2)学生听录音吟唱B部分Lets chant的歌谣“Saturday,Saturday”。(3)Free talk:主要句型:A:What day is it today?B:ItS MondayC:What do you have on Mondays?B:I have mathI dont like MondaysI love SundaysA:What do you do on Sundays?2Presentation(呈现)(1)教师利用课件或课文挂图展示Lets try中的一部分,让学生进行小组活动,编对话。并请各小组展示。(2)然后学生听Lets try部分的内容,请学生选择。(3)教师边说边把重点句型What do you do on SaturdaysSundays?写在黑板上。并在表格一中进行选择打“、”。同桌之间进行pair work练习该句型,要求学生在自己的表格中完成该任务。(4)导入新词weekend。What do you do on weekends?I do sports on SaturdaysI play football on Sundays教师通过自问自答的方式,使学生能较快地明白weekend意思,为完成pair work打好基础。(5)学生再通过上面的表格进行操练:Whatdo you do on weekends?(6)lJ用表格二,要求每位学生去调查本班三名或更多同学的周末安排。(7)完成LetS check教师播放录音,让学生按照录音内容做练习,对本单元的重要语言进行阶段性评价。录音内容如下:Boy:What day is it today?Girl:ItS TuesdayGirl:What do you have on Mondays?Boy:We have math,Chinese and musicGirl:What do you do on Saturdays?Boy:I often do my homeworkBoy:What do you do on Sundays?Girl:I often playfootball3PracticeConsolidation(操练巩固)(1)活动:“快乐转转转”。教师自制教具:转动标有动词词组的快乐圆盘,看停在哪里,一组学生问,一组学生答。(该游戏摆脱了学生的固定思维方式,让学生在活动的指引下愉快、灵活地学习知识,让他们在玩中学,学中玩。)(2)Free talk:主要句型:S1: What day is it today ?S2: Its . I often do homework,read books and watch TV. 课后体会:第六课时(一)教学要点1教学目标(1)能理解认读Read and write中的句子并正确运用。(2)能听、说、读、写“四会”句子,正确完成对话后面的句子填空。(3)能够完成Task time中的小制作。2教学重点本课时的重点是“四会”掌握句子:What doyou do on Saturdays?1 watch TV on SaturdaysWhatabut you?I do my homework3教学难点本课时的难点是将动作和星期几在一个句子中表达,如1 watch TV on Saturdays并能进行词组和单词的灵活应用。规范书写句中的大小写。(二)课前准备1教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、课件、单词卡、录音机、投影仪、幻灯片等。2制作一本有关一周活动的活页书。3学生准备白纸和颜色笔。4教师自制表格。(三)教学过程1WarmupRevision(热身复习)(1)师生表演唱:My Days ofthe week(2)LetS chant(P19)(3)汇报周末活动把课后搜集到的周末活动形式进行整理,使用句型:“Whatdo you doonweekends?I”在班级内汇报,找出学生们最喜欢的周末活动。(4)Free talk :A:What day is it today?B:ItS MondayC:What do you have on Mondays?B:I have mathI dont like MondaysI loveSundaysA:What do you do on Sundays?2Presentation(呈现)(1)Play a game教师呈现单词卡片:do,you,what,on,Saturdays?并请学生认读这些卡片。然后教师把这些卡片分给不同的学生,请学生快速站到教室前面并把这些单词组成句子What do you do on Saturdays?用同样的方法完成“四会”句子1 watch TVon SaturdaysWhat about you?I do my homework,too的学习。(教学从活动开始,使大多数学生都在课堂中集中注意力,也可使学生感到语言学习的快乐。)(2)教师呈现教学挂图,学生边听边理解意思。学生基本理解后,教师提问:what dayisittoday?What does Zoom do on Saturdays?What does Aunt Cathy do on Saturdays?让学生说出表现Zoom周六活动的三张小图代表哪三个动词短语。并试着按照Zoom的喜爱程度排序。(3)学生在听几遍后完成下面的表格。(4)学生戴上Zoom和Aunt Cathy的头饰进行创意操练和表演。(5)Group work小组进行讨论活动,主要根据句型:What doyou do on SaturdaysSundaysweekends?What about you?了解并书写每位小组成员各自的周末安排,找出有共同爱好的伙伴,完成表格并交流。(表格附后)3PracticeConsolidation(操练巩固)(1)活动1:心心相印。各组请几位学生上来,其他人齐问:What doyou do on SaturdaysSundaysweekends?被问的学生不做回答,而是在黑板上画简笔画,如画一支笔,全组同学齐答:I do homework on SaturdaysSundaysweekends看在规定的时间内哪组完成得最多为胜者。(共同感受共同分担成功的喜悦,可使课堂更充满人情味。)(2) Free talk : 主要句型:S1:What time is it ?S2: Its .S1: What day is it today?S2: I ts .S1: What do you do on weekends?S2: I often .
