Review some old words by showing some sliders:A doctor, a farmer, an office worker, a nurse, a driver, a student. 3. Ask and answer between teacher and students, and lead to the new sentence patterns according to the real situations. Learn and master the new word “work” T: Im a teacher. What do you do? S: Im a student. T: I work in a school. Where do you study?S: I study in a school. (Help Ss answer.)Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the slide of “Where do you study? I study in a school.”T: What does your father do?Ss: He is a farmer/ driver.T: Where does he work?Ss: He works on a farm.2. Let Ss practice the sentence patterns above and learn the word-formation, write down some words and let the students find out the rules.
