Warming up 演唱字母歌，同时给学生看字母卡片。 II. Revision教师与学生谈话，谈话的内容是有关周末的活动What do you do at the weekend? 活动的目的是为了让学生回忆起学过的动词和动词短语, 如: play football, watch TV等，为今天教学中将要涉及的活动内容做准备。III. New teachingA 教师与学生做“看一看，做一做”的活动：教师边说边用动作示范warm, hot, cool, cold等表示气候的词语，请学生重复老师的动作和语言，同时给他们看这些单词，让学生在模仿的过程中对本节课的新单词有初步的感知。B. 教师出示表示四季的图片，将它们贴到黑板上，带领学生指认四个季节。让学生用上一环节中的四个单词为四个季节的天气做描述，如：用warm来描述春天的天气。教师还可以注意考察学生能不能通过“认”单词来完成这个环节，这样做有利于培养学生的认读能力。教师领读四季的名称，同时将四个表示天气状况的词语一起读出来，例如：spring, warm, summer, hot, autumn, cool, winter, cold. 教师在读的过程中要加入语气和表情，以帮助学生理解、记忆。C借助图片，教师说出：Its spring. Its warm in spring.等句子，鼓励有能力的学生说出类似的句子。教师带领全体同学说出正确的几个句子，并进行板书，注意培养他们的认读能力。留给全班学生一点时间让他们在同桌之间进行交流，教师要深入小组进行指导和帮助。D播放录音带，让学生边听边看大挂图，并指向相应的季节；在听第二遍时，让学生仔细听，并发现其中出现的几种运动或活动，可以在播放的过程中，在每种活动的后面暂停录音带，请学生重复并模仿动作。提醒他们在讲述的时候要将主语代词we换成they。让学生打开课本，再次播放录音带，让学生边听边指向相对应的图画，并进行跟读模仿。E让学生合上课本模仿录音给学生听，在描述季节的内容后面停顿，让学生根据课本内容描述天气以及孩子们所做的事情。鼓励有能力的学生运用更多的语言进行叙述。如：录音：Its summer. 学生：Its hot in summer. They go swimming in summer.有能力的学生：Its very hot in summer.
