Unit 5 LiteratureLesson 10 Anne of Green Gablesv 教材分析本课是本单元的第一课,主要内容是短篇小说绿山墙的安妮的节选,遇见安妮的一段。本课的语法点是定语从句。通过本课的学习,学生将养成优秀英文优秀名著的习惯,掌握用定语从句对名词的限制和修饰。 教学目标【知识目标】在文中找到人物动作及别人的评价等细节描写,并分析人物性格特点,说出课文所承载的人文性信息,并感受英文文学作品的魅力。【能力目标】根据自己对文中人物的分析理解,判断一些事件发生的可能性,并说出依据。【情感目标】激发阅读原著的兴趣和愿望。 教学重难点【教学重点】1.重点词汇和句子。2.通过阅读培养对名著的阅读鉴赏能力。【教学难点】 课前准备To read and analyze the book extract。1.课前准备:调试光盘与课件、给学生分组、为学生布置预习作业等; 2.教具学具:光盘、大卡片等。 教学过程Step1. Getting ready1. Look at pictures and talk about what they mean. Think about what literature is.2. Let students discuss and brainstorm the literature items related to literature.Step2. Warm-up1. Look at the key words in the slide and teach students the meaning and structure of these words: fairytale, novel, play, poem, science fiction, short story, story2. Encourage students to use the words to make up sentences.3. Lets students talk with their partners about the following questions.What kind of stories do you like best?Do you like plays? Have you ever been in a play?Who is your favourite writer? Why?Step3. Reading1. Take a look at the pictures of Anne of Green Gables and get students to discuss their knowledge about the novel.2. Introduce students the description of the novel and its author.3. Skim the text. Let students say the plots of the novel.4. Read again and check the sentences with T or F.5. Read the text and complete the table.6. Let students explain the main characters and plot in the novel with the evidence out of the novel.Step4. Ask students to guess the people or the thing referred to in the sentences using relative clause. 2.
