One day it was announced that there would be a rope-skipping competition in our class. On hearing the announcement, I felt nervous because I had never done rope skipping before. But my sister, who promised to teach me, persuaded me to have a try. At the beginning I found it hard to learn to skip because my feet always blocked the rope.,However, I didnt lose heart but changed my way of learning. Gradually I could skip faster and faster. Thanks to my sisters help and my perseverance I took part in the competition confidently, in which I skipped 155 times and ranked fifth.
