Unit 4一、教学目标 语言知识目标1.学习单词work和词组by car,on foot,by school bus,并懂得运用。2.学习句型:How do you go to school?By car./By school bus.How does Kate go to school?She goes to school on foot.How does your mother go to work?She goes to work by bike.3.学习字母y在单词中发/a/的音。4.功能:谈论交通工具及交通方式。 语言技能目标1.能询问他人出行的交通方式,并从别人的谈话中获取信息。2.能在口语交际和书面运用中表达自己或他人出行时的交通方式。 情感态度培养学生遵守交通法规,提高交通安全的意识。二、教具准备1.各种交通工具的单词卡片和图片。2.词组卡片:by car,by school bus,on foot,by bike等。三、教学过程Step 1 Warming up1.Greeting2.Look and guess.展示三种交通工具的一部分让学生猜。Step 2 Review1.复习单词car,bus和bike。2.Show the title:Unit 4 Transportation Part AStep 3 Presentation(一)学习句型How do you go to school?和词组by car,by school bus,by bike,on foot1.Teacher shows a picture.T: Who is she?Ss: She is Miss Zheng.T: Today,I come to school by my electrombile.How do you come to school?板书come to schoolT: How to say 去上学 in English?Ss: Go to school板书 come to school go to school教师解释说:如果在学校里谈论自己或同学的上学方式,应该用come to school,而如果是在学校以外的环境谈论上学方式,则可以用go to school。2.T: I go to school by my electrombile.How do you go to school?引导学生理解这个句子的意思。Drill: How do you go to school?请学生根据实际回答,允许学生用中文表述。之后,教师根据学生所说,分别出示by car,by bus和on foot的词组卡片。当学生说到by bus时,呈现单词卡by school bus,请学生说一说该词组的中文意思。3.Consolidate the four phrases.(1)Ask and answer(2)GameMemory游戏规则:教师随意提问几个学生“How do you go to school?”这几个生回答之后教师要求其他学生要记住,然后教师再提问学生刚才几位同学的答案。(二)学习句型How does.go to school?1.记忆力大比拼环节教师不断用“How does XXX go to school?”句型去提问学生,让学生初步感知“How does XXX go to school?”T:“XXX goes to school by bus. XXX goes to school on foot. How does Sally go to school? How does Yang Ming go to school? Please watch the video.”2.教师播放课文录音或教学光盘,学生听录音并找出答案。3.教师在黑板上呈现问题:How does Sally go to school?和How does Yang Ming go to school?(1)请学生观察这两个句子与How do you go to school?的区别。强调在提问时,主语是第三人称单数的情况下,助动词do要变成does,后面的动词go则用原形。(2)教师呈现答案并板书:“He/She goes to school.” 引导学生区别go与goes,强调第三人称谓语动词的变化形式。(三)学习词组go to work1.T:“Sally goes to school by car. Kate goes to school on foot. How does their mother go to work?”Show the card of go to work and teach.2.教师播放课文录音或教学光盘,学生带着问题再次感知课文,找出答案。3.GamePass card游戏规则:学生边说“go to work”边传递词卡,教师示意停止时,拿到该词卡的学生要起立,并选择一位同学提问:“How does your father/mother go to work?”该学生根据实际回答自己父母上班的交通方式。(四)Consolidate the text1.Read2.Practice(1)完成课本第24页的 Ask and answer.部分。(2)完成课本第27页的Learn to write.部分。(3)完成教师分发下去的卡片。(五)English sounds1.Teacher shows some pictures, students look and say2.教师告诉学生y在单音节单词和多音节单词的重读音节中,发/a/的音。3.全班学生看课本第24页的Listen and learn the English sounds.部分,教师播放录音,学生模仿跟读。Step 4 Homework1.听录音,熟读本课内容。2.完成活动手册中本课的练习。
