The teacher draws a calendar and asks the students “Whats the date ?”lead the students say “Its December 25th .Its Christmas Day.”2. Show Santa and say “Merry Christmas “to the students.二、Key ConceptsDemonstrate:1. The teacher shows a box of a toy to the students and tell them that its a gift from Santa .2. The teacher stand in front of a volunteer and says “Santa brings gift for you .”with the gesture .”I give you the gift.Please open it ”3. When the volunteer open the gift .The teacher asks “What is it ?”The volunteer answers “Its a teddy bear .”The teacher repeats “Its a teddy bear .Its a toy.”(write “toy “on the blackboard )4. The teacher asks another volunteer and does this dialogue again .Then write “bring, give, open” on the blackboard .And ask the students to read the words a few times .Introduce the pronounciation of the words .eg. give, openPractise:1.Ask some volunteers to do the same practice with the help on the blackboard . The game is “gift giving “.2.The teacher asks a volunteer to picks up a gift under the Christmas tree and do the practice with other volunteers.
