2019-2020年高中英语 Unit23 Rescuing the temple教案 北师大版必修2一、教学目标与要求在本单元教学中,学生学习并初步掌握非限制性定语从句的用法,并运用到书面作业中。进一步学习提出建议的表达方式,能较为熟练的提出建议,语言使用正确。通过对课文的学习,了解保护古迹文物的重要意义,并用自己组织的语言,描述阿斯旺大坝的概况。完成练习册编排的练习。二、教学重点与难点1重点词汇flood;figure;rebuild;mark;face(v);in better take a hatThe sun will burn you if youre not careful三、课型(一)对话课教具 录音机,投影仪。课堂教学设计1Warm-up:向学生提出以下问题,由大家讨论:Suppose your family are on holidayAnd you are planning a trip somewhereTell me what you might discuss启发学生热烈讨论,可板书大家提出的问题。如:1)when to go;2)where to go;3)howto get there ;4)how long to spend there ;5)what to do and see there ;6)what to take ;7)what to buy2准备放对话录音。借助投影片打出以下听前提问:1)Where are the family spendingtheir holidays?2)Where is the temple located?放录音一至两遍,请学生回答上述问题,教师予以必要订正。Key:1)The family are spending their holidays in Egypt2)The temple is located on theedge of the lake that has been made by the dam3再次放对话录音,学生跟读。将学生分为四人一组练习对话。数分钟后,请两、三组同学到前面表演。学生再次默读对话,从对话中找出这一家可能的活动:Ask the students to read the dialogue again and find out possible activities the family doin Aswan:1)stay in a hotel;2)visit the town of Aswan;3)do some shopping;4)visit the HighDam;5)take a boat to visit the temple at Abu Simbel;6)take a boat on the River Nile;7)go for a walk round Aswan after the boat High Dam?我们去看大坝好吗?这是一种否定疑问句,常用缩略式开头(如cant,dont,wont等),用来表示提出邀请或征求意见,有时还有责备的意思。例如:Cant you see the notice over there?It says:No smoking你难道看不见那告示吗?上面写着:禁止吸烟。Wont you e in for a largest of which is Taiwan中国有成千上万的岛屿,其中台湾是最大的岛屿。本句中 had on the outside four large stone figures=had four large stone figures on theoutside将on the outside插到句中,使得句子结构严谨,是需要同学们注意的一种修辞手法。4Inside the temple is a row of stone animals,which face the rising sun寺庙内部有一排动物石雕像,它们都面朝着一轮旭日。1)face是及物动词,作“面对,正视”解,例如:Our house faces the street我们的房子朝着大街。We must face the difficulties and overe them我们必须正视困难,克服困难。2)Inside the temple is a row of stone animals,是倒装句,主语a row of stone animals移到句尾,以便后面再跟一个定语从句,使句子平衡。例如:Around the house are rows of trees, which were planted around 100 years ago房屋的四周有一排排的树木,它们都是大约100年前种植的。3)which face the rising sun为非限制性定语从句。
