Today well read a passage and learn about them. Now open your books on Page 59 and read the passage quickly to get its general idea. Then answer the questions on the screen. 1. T: In the first sentence, the meaning of the phrase “on the go” means “popular” or “fashionable”. In the second one, “having a cell phone” is a gerund used as a subject. (Teacher plays the tape for students to listen. After that, teacher gives students a few minutes to read aloud the passage.
